Livvie turned towards the sounds of knocking and slowly walked to the door, she doesn't know anyone so who could it be. She slowly opens the door

"uh, who are you?" she asked softly

"oh, I'm Livvie. Is there something you needed?"

Livvie takes the basket and sets it aside. She eyes Beth warily and slowly backs up, "would you like to come inside?"

Closes the door. "uh, thanks." She walks into the kitchen and sits down at the table as she watches Beth.

She glances down at her daggers on her hips, "Ares, and you?"

She looks at Beth and observes her

"no, It's just easier to read a person if you watch them close enough."

She gets up and walks to the front door, opens it, and walks out

"wanna go to the arena?" she asked.

Livvie opened the door and walked in silently

Thomas followed and shut the door behind him. He walked over to Olivia and held her close to him.

She tried to contain her tears, she felt so weak like this, she didn't know what to do

Thomas pushed back her sleeve and saw many bruises. "Can I try?" He asked very softly.

She looked worried and then nodded, "Just don't ruin your health in the process, promise me you won't hurt yourself in the end by doing this." She was very serious about this, yes her wounds hurt, but they would heal with time anyway

"It won't hurt me at all." He told her. It was a small lie. He ran his finger over the first bruise and it took seconds to disappear. A bruise began to form on his arm, but it was hidden by his hoodie.

She couldn't tell if he was be honest or not and she was worried that he was just trying to help her but that he was also hurting himself, after got rid of a few bruises she pulled back and pulled down her sleeve, she still had more injuries on her abdomen but those would heal with time, and her father wanted her to toughen up, "Thanks, that was all of them!" She said with false brightness

Thomas frowned. "Are you sure?" He asked.

She nodded and moved towards the kitchen, she grabbed a water bottle and turned to him, "Do you want one?"

"Thank you Olivia," Thomas said, he reached out his arm and took it.

((Do you want me to act like she saw the bruises?))

Livvie noticed a bruise on his and gently grabbed his hand pulling up his sleeve, "How?" She asked trying to figure out why he had bruises, she would hurt the person that dared to even look at him wrong

Thomas's breath caught. "I just pushed around in training." He said softly.

She nodded slowly looking as if she didn't believe him, but she didn't push the matter, "You can into the living room and pick something to watch if you want, I'm going to go get changed real quick." She said as she moved towards her bedroom

Thomas smiled and headed for the living room. He sat on the couch, the bruises on his arm already throbbed and he couldn't imagine the pain she felt. He was just glad he took a little of the burden. He picked his favorite movie, Two weeks notice.

Livvie came back out of her room in a sweatshirt, and some leggings, and sat next to him on the couch, she had to be careful with the way she moved to the dressing on her stomach wouldn't some undone

Thomas smiled at Olivia. "I picked this one out." He said pointing at the TV.

She smiled brightly and laughed, "I love this movie."

"Very similar tastes we have." Thomas chuckled. He noticed her rigidity and furrowed his brow. "Olivia are you still hurting?" He asked.

She shook her head, "No, I'm just not used to sitting for such long periods of time, after all, normally I train day and night."

Thomas frowned. He didn't believe her. "If you say so," he said.

She felt bad for lying to him, but she wanted to make sure he didn't hurt himself by helping her, she leaned back some and started watching the movie

Thomas threw an arm over her shoulder and leaned back into the couch. He could feel the pain but he wasn't going to push her.

She curled into his side and rested her head on his chest

Thomas welcomed the gesture and smiled. He hoped that even this would help her.

As she started to get more comfortable a small smile appeared on her face, she felt safe here with Thomas

Thomas was as content as he could ever have been, but the thought still lingered that he hadn't done enough.

"Thomas?"

"Olivia."

She smiled, "You can, um, stay here for the night if you want. I have an extra room you could use." She said as blush worked its way across her cheeks

"I would be honored." He grinned. He kissed the rope of her head lightly.

She smiled softly as she wrapped her arm around his midsection

Thomas smiled. He was overwhelmingly lucky.

Livvie started fall asleep and cuddled further into his side

Thomas felt her breathing slow and he held her tighter.

Livvie started shivering as she got cold

Thomas grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around her.

She murmured sleepily and lightly gripped him closer to her
