Either Athena or Hecate.

I've been thinking about this a lot, and I've changed my mind. Not Athena, because she's also the goddess of war and I am strongly anti-war. Maybe Nyx or Hecate, with a bit of Apollo.

Ares is the god of war, Athena is more the goddess of battle strategy (technically still warlike, but not violent). Basically her role in mythology wasn't to cause conflicts or gain power from them like Ares and Eris, she just helps with the best/smartest ways to win them.

Era ➴ (readeroflibraries) | 226 comments I'm probably a child of Hecate because
a) some myths say her mother is Nyx, the goddess of the night, and I love nighttime; other myths say her parents are Perses (Tiatn of destruction) and Asteria (Titaness of falling stars and nocturnal divination), and I love stars and destruction
b) she's the goddess of the crossroads and I'm incredibly indecisive
c) she's the goddess of magic and witchcraft and I would love to have magical powers
d) she has a company of torch nymphs who are her companions and has been depicted as having twin torches as her weapons and I love fire
e) she's a protector of women and we love feminist queens
f) she has an affinity for storms and chaos and I love storms and chaos
g) she has an affiliation with ghosts/spirits and the Underworld and beyond-death shit is fascinating to me
h) she has an affinity for shapeshifting and deceptions and I'm weirdly good at lying (and shapeshifting is my number-one choice of superpower)
i) her companion is a dog who used to be a witch-queen and I would love to have a dog or be a witch-queen

yes this is a lot I am procrastinating my economics homework

I'm so indecisive
I keep saying "oh yeah [insert]'s my godly parent"
The next day: "oh wait no actually I think [insert] suits me more"
And then it just keeps going
I can't pick what would fit me most
Athena makes sense but also so do Hecate and Nyx and Poseidon and Hades
I'm so bad at this lmao

I'm Athena's daughter lol :)
