Even though he wasn't supposed to come here, he had. Of course, breaking rules in the middle of the day. It couldn't always be at night. Plus, his older deputy brother always vouched for him. He never got into trouble. Especially if he brought a fish back to camp.
He glanced over at the two-legged place remembering plenty of good memories of his past relationships. Being with multiple cats at once didn't bother him at all. It was his lifestyle. But, he had to do it outside the clan since they didn't accept it.
Pineclaw sniffed around the clearing slowly looking to see if any new cats would come today. He was in a flirty mood. Hoping for either a tom cat or a she-cat. Preferably young so he could have control. Yes, he was also in a controlling mood. Maybe a sweet date till or after nightfall would be nice today.

    

Conveniently, Zippy had, indeed, been true to his words and left the two-leg place. Now he was near the river he’d mentioned. ‘Too bad Gecko didn’t come here! He’s missing out.’ The tom thought, his gold bell twinkling from his collar as he moved, crouching occasionally when he saw a large bird. Being small lent him an advantage at hiding, but his collar — alongside his cockiness and outdated humor — always gave him away no matter what. Either way, Zippy kept walking, kneeling to sniff a flower or two even if he weren’t interested in them. He had grown to appreciate the little things in life. So, the kittypet was also distracted, and had no bother to see the RiverClan cat in the distance.
  

Pineclaw smiled. This young tom had appeared from the two-legged place. He was obviously a kittypet. Clouded by his one-sided mind a mood swings the urge to flirt came over him. If only, if only, a lovely she-cat would appear for him... For them...
Pineclaw stayed in his place admiring the way the sun reflected off the bell. Not like he liked the bell but still, he admired it. Slowly, he moved closed and watched the way the young cat's muscles moved. He admired that. A young and strong tom-cat. What a pitty that he was a kittypet. But, it'd definitely make a lovely litter of kittens.
He shook his head and stood tall making sure his pelt was groomed perfectly. This was exactly how he would look when the kittypet saw him. Nice. Handsome. And attentive.

The kittypet’s small but strong ears perked up while his head raised. Noticing the warrior, he took a small step back. ‘Okay, that’s new.’ Was his first thought the second his dark blue eyes landed on the large feline. ‘Why’s he looking at me like that?‘ Zippy hissed softly, lowering his head while his gaze remained focused on the seductive cat. Zippy may be a crackhead, but he knows better. He smartly began to walk over to one side, feinting a look of calm, when really his anxiety had begun to skyrocket. The tom felt insecure, making it clear he knew something about Pineclaw that he genuinely wished he did not.
  

Pineclaw stood and closed the distance between himself and Zippy. "Hello handsome," he said. They were friends distance from each other but, Pineclaw walked around in a circle around him running his tail behind him it touching Zippy's back occasionally.

    

“Hi..” Zippy replied tentatively, immediate regret filling the pit in his stomach. He put his rear end towards a nearby tree and began to back away, flinching in the slightest from the touch by Pine’Claw’s tail. Zippy’s whiskers stood on-end. “Very funny thing for you to call me that. I’ll be going now..” He dragged out the ‘w’ in his final word. Zippy cowered before the RiverClan warrior, his fur bristling.
  

Pineclaaw smiled. He'd come off badly. "Sorry, I must have come off wrong," he said snapping at his flirtiness for almost ruining the moment. "What's a kittypet doing out here?" he asked. He forced his tail not to touch the bell on the handsome man's collar.

    

“Nothing.” Zippy said quickly. “Just wandered too far, and I will be heading back alone. Thanks for your time, bye-“ At each word, he spoke faster, his pupils dilating. He jumped about 2 and a half feet and bolted, looking behind him. He knew the cat would catch up to him easily, but it was worth a shot. Zippy lived up to his name, though. For each leap, his pace didn’t decrease like most cats would. It only increased.
  

"Welp, that was short lived," Pineclaw said and sighed. "Maybe I'll see if Daisywhite's busy then..." he muttered. He turned and began to stalk off into the forest obviously not going to try and chase Zippy.

    

Zippy had been thankful that the stranger hadn’t followed him. Turning to face where the cat had walked off to, he stayed silent before continuing to run back to the two-leg place. ‘I should find Gecko. Yeah. That sounds good. .. .even though he hates me..’
