What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I don’t know a lot about this book, besides some of the plot. No character names, author or what the cover looks like. The hero is a rockstar and he meets the heroine in a hotelbar (Vegas?). They go to his hotelroom, but she leaves him when he goes to the bathroom. I’m not sure how they meet again but somehow he invites her to come to one of his concerts in another city. She also sees a billboard of his concert across her office, so she is reminded of him constantly. She flies to this town, but her flight is delayed. She arrives after the concert and he believes she didn’t show up. When a groupie comes to his dressing room, he makes out with her just as the heroine walks in. They have a fall out and he tells her he didn’t do anything wrong because they aren’t together. He grovels later by coming to her house and they start something. The heroine has a sister and she is against their relationship because she doesn’t trust the hero and heard the story of him and the groupie. There is a bad bandmate in the hero’s band. Two of the band mates are settling down and one wants to quit the band. Because he is afraid to lose the band he sets the hero up. He drugs him and tells lies about the heroine. While drugged he believes them and when the heroine walks in he gets upset with her and calls her names. I think it was something that she played him only for his money and that the sister was also involved. The other band mate who had a girlfriend was there as well and tried to stop the hero, because he felt sorry for the heroine. When the hero realizes his mistake he grovels. The bad bandmate also tries to kill the heroine at the end of the book. She is in a dressing room with a drugged groupie who was raped by this bad bandmate. I read this book in the last 5 years. I believe it was written between 2010 and 2020. Any help is very welcome!

I’m afraid that isn’t the one. I can’t remember much else about this book apart from the above. I tried to remember what the heroine’s job is, but I came up short. There are also a few POV’s from a gross bandmate, I’m sure about that.

Sounds a bit like Kylie Scott's Stage Dive series, except for the attempted murder bit?

Lick opens up with the H and h married in Vegas after the h has a few too many tequila shots. She's not aware of who he is (a famous rock band guitar player)

That sounds like great book Kristy. The h and H didn’t get married in the book I read, so I’m afraid it isn’t this one.

I’n starting to think I might be mixing up two books. What I do remember is a scene being similar to Kylie Scott’s Lick, but isn’t the same book.

What I know for sure:
-hero expects heroine at a concert, but she’s not there. When after the concert a familiair groupie/woman comes to his dressing room he gives in.
-heroine was on her way to his concert, but her flight is cancelled/delayed. When she comes at the concert a crew member or band mate (not sure if hero is a solo singer or participating in a band) shows her the way to him. She opens the door and witnesses him in a compromising position with the other woman.
-heroine leaves and hero chases her, telling her he didn’t think she would come and stood him up.

Does this sound familiar to anyone or do you know the title?

I remember that they didn’t meet at a concert. The heroine also has a sister who is against her being with the hero. There is a misunderstanding about money involving the sister and her husband. Hero thinks heroine set him up or something because of his money and lashes out verbally. It’s driving me insane not finding this book.

Yes I’m sure he’s part of it. He’s the one that let’s the heroine backstage in the room where the hero and groupie are. He knows the hero is in there with her. That bandmate is also doing drugs and rapes another groupie, or otherwise forceful sex. The groupie is passed out afterwards. It’s descriptive from his POV. In the end there’s also a scene with that bandmate, a groupie and the heroine where he has held both women hostage or something. The hero comes to their rescue.

Bump. Not sure if hero is in a band or a solo singer. The other bandmates are for sure in the book, but they can be just there to accompany him on tour.
