Nia went down to an alleyway and started vandalizing the wall.

adam passed by the outside of the alleyway, then walked back a few paces, "nia? what're you doing here?"

"What does it look like?", She says

"fair" he said looking at the wall.

It said we are still here. She smirked at her work.

"cool, i guess." he said as he started to walk away.

"Why do you care. You abandoned me like everyone else!", she said to him.

"whatever you want to think." he said turning around.

"I thought you were different. I thought you wouldn't abandon me as everyone else did. But, I was wrong", she said as she was lashing out, she was throwing things at him. "You played me, you played with my emotions!"

he was freezing everything she threw at him, and letting it shatter as it hit the ground. "i didn't abandon you. what makes you think i did? cause walking away...............that's not abandoning."

"It really felt like you did.", she said as she looking at him. "Because everyone that has walked away has left me. Just because of how I act"

"well, i'm kinda stuck with you at this point." he said with a smile.

"How?", Nia says as she saw a police officer and pulled adam down the alley.

adam followed her, it would be easy to see him with him being such a bright color. "cause you're kinda a partner of mine now."

"Partner?", Nia says as she saw the officer go back to his car.

"yeah." he said running his fingers through his hair. " we're kinda like a team."

Nia went to where her stuff was. "Aren't you a loner?"

"yes.............................normally. i decided it might be nice to hav e someone to talk to, when nobody else would be willing to." he said with a half smile.

Nia smiled.

"so, do you accept?" he said holding out his hand.

Nia smirked and shook his hand.

"glad to have someone on my side." he said as he turned to walk out of the alley. but decided against it. "so watcha wanna do?"

"Well, I finished the vandalizing, but don't know what to do with April," Nia said as she sighed.

he looked up at her, "april?"

"Yeah, I don't know what to do", Nia says to him

"what about her?" he was starting to get confused.

"I like her but she's a hero", Nia says to him

"so what? what's so great about her anyways?"

"Her eyes"

adam rolled his eyes, "yeah sure."

She scoffed, "She's my Carlos"

adam staggered a little, his eyes also dialated "what'd you say?"

"You heard me", she said as she was trembling, "I'm scared, I know I'm not supposed too but I am"

"why are you so scared?" there was a sting in his tone.

"I'm scared of my emotions", she says as she threw the paints cans away

"pfffft, AHAHAHAHAH" he fell to the ground laughing.
your emotions?!" he barely got the words out through the laughs.

Nia started to laugh, "Seriously though, what do I do with the hero?"

"that sounds like a problem you need ot handle." he started calming down a little.

"Maybe..."

"waddya mean maybe?"

know how to handle it!", she says

"just talk to her, i don't know. whatever you girls do."

"Oh, wow that's helpful", she scoffed, "NOT!"

"it wasn't suppose to be."

Nia rolled her eyes and went back to the academy

adam followed.
