Voidpool enters the forest -- well, more like slithers. She sinks into the shadows.
She may be walking with the discretion of an assassin snake, in reality, she's just taking a walk to clear her mind. There wasn't really a place to get some fresh air here, and this dead forest was the closest simulation of nature that the Dark Forest had.
Wild growls softly, a frustrated little sigh. Finally, he is alone.
The tom stands on a low-hanging branch, head turned up to the sky, but with eyes closed. So far, he hasn’t noticed anything of the she-cat, but that isn’t surprising considering how she moves like a shadow. Oblivious, Wild balances carefully on the branch, tail flicking slightly.

Voidpool hears a flicker of noise and looks up, yellow eyes piercing through the darkness."Who's here," she hisses, making her voice as creepy as possible. "Another StarClan fool?" She adds a creepy laugh for good measure, hoping to scare off whoever's bothering her.
Wild’s eyes snap open at the voice. Stifling a snarl, he looks down. Stupid she-cat. “StarClan, as if.” His voice is low and rough. “Can you not recognize one of your own?” Of course, even in the furthest reaches of the Dark Forest, there was always somecat around to pester him. Was a bit of silence too much to ask?
"One of my own?" Voidpool scoffs, her voice like sharp smoke. "If you were one of my own, you wouldn't dare talk to me like this."She searches discreetly for the source of the over-pretentious voice.
“Oh, I apologize,” Wild gushes with an ‘apologetic’ tone. Stilling his tail and blending into the mottled brown tree bark, he glares down at the she-cat with a piercing emerald gaze. “I do hope your highness will forgive me for my disrespect.”
Voidpool catches sight of Wild's eyes and stares into his soul. She smiles eerily and says, "good. That's already better."
As if she hadn't understood it was sarcasm.
What a moron. Wild leaps down from the tree branch, alighting softly before the she-cat. He returns the icy gaze and holds it. “Well? What do you want?”
Voidpool's mouth twitches slightly into a creepy smile as she continues looking at Wild."Who are you?" she asks, ignoring Wild's question, growling ever-so-slightly to add to her menacing aura.
“Why do you care?” Wild snaps, bristling in annoyance. He came here to get away from cats, and now here one was, a she-cat at that, trying to get him to do the thing he hated most: talk. Wild turns away, releasing a soft huff. “Just go away, will ya?”
Voidpool bristles for an instant, annoyed at this growling old idiot."I care because I'm the leader here," Voidpool says carefully, omitting that she is one of a few leaders instead of the sole ruler. "And I've never seen you around. Did you die recently?"
She catches up with Wild to block his path, not wanting him to leave just yet.
Wild narrows his emerald eyes. “I’ve been here longer than I care to say or remember,” he growls softly, his voice raspy. And it was true. Wild has been dead quite a while, but nobody knows him because he doesn’t care to be known. A loner even after death. “A leader, eh? Then don’t you have more important things to do than pester every random cat you cross in the forest?” Wild softly pads around Voidpool, not even giving her a glance.
"Not if you're a threat to the effortfully crafted balance we have here," Voidpool replies sharply, her tail flicking angrily. "And also ..." she examines Wild, her eyes almost searching through his soul. "... I wonder if you could be useful to us," she whispers.
At that, Wild pauses, looking back over his shoulder. Eyes flashing, he snarls at the so-called leader. “From possible threat to potential lackey. You should make up your mind, she-cat. But I can give you an answer to the second: No. I work for no-cat.”
Voidpool grins dangerously. "I'm not asking you to work for us. Just asking you to make a deal. We probably have enemies in common, hmm? And I have a potential solution. It's a win-win."
Wild shakes his head, hating the look on her face. “What would you know about my enemies,” he growls, hating her for assuming anything about him. And a ‘potential solution’? Well, that didn’t sound too promising. “My answer is still no.”
Voidpool chuckles a sensual laugh. "Alright. Suit yourself!" she says, in a voice that sounds almost like she is kidding. "Do whatever you want."Her eyes gleaming with amusement, she starts leaving.
“Don’t worry…” Wild’s voice takes on a dangerous tone of its own. Eyes glittering with a menacing light, he turns away once again. With a steady gait (his leg isn’t bothering him too much at the moment, he begins to walk away. But he calls once more over his shoulder as he disappears into the shadows. “…I plan to.”
Voidpool lets out a laugh that would fit just right in a horror movie, one filled with delicate eerieness."That'll be fun to see," she says, before exiting out of the forest.
So far, things seem to be working out.
