Welcome to the group!
Although many of us know each other from NaNo Coffeehouse or NaNoLA, it's nice to put Names and faces to user names, along with genres we write.

I'm Julie (auelocks).
I write mostly Middle Grade and YA. (Contemporary, magical realism, LGBTQ+, neuro-diverse, urban fantasy)

I read mostly Middle Grade and YA books and would love to write in this genre eventually but I've been swept away to write Historical non-fiction novel at the moment.

message 8: by Ceeyena (new)

Ceeyena | 2 comments Hello,
I'm Ceeyena, almost everywhere, and my current WIP is literary low-fantasy. I tend to write character-driven stories over plot-driven ones. But I read a lot of fantasy and mystery.

Matt (mattnewcomb) | 1 comments Hi everyone, I'm Matt (Talenos) and I mostly write comedy in various screenplay formats, but for prose I've been mainly interested in speculative fiction and sometimes combining the two.

Pa(z)ix (paixz) | 1 comments Hi all! Im Paix or Paz

I write slice of life with a sprinkle of magical realism.
Lately I’ve been into poems and utopias. They border into fantasy.

Also love the self help/spiritual genres more exactly: Books on Radical Kindness or Shirinyoku

Read you around!

message 13: by Susan (new)

Susan (speyegull) | 1 comments Hi! I'm Redheaded Witch on all of my NaNo-related profiles.

I write romance, cozy mystery, and paranormal. No published books yet, but I am working towards that goal.

My reading tastes are all over the place.

message 14: by Tasneem (new)

Tasneem Ahmed | 1 comments Hello!
I'm Tasneem and I am still sort of experimenting with different genres. I enjoy writing contemporary and medieval fantasy for middle grade/YA audiences. I'm a poet at heart though, and it's how I originally got into writing.

message 15: by Ver (new)

Ver | 1 comments Hi! I’m Ver. I write a lot of fanfiction during the year, but for NaNo I usually do something in the realm of sci-fi or fantasy, and I usually write YA. My big noveling project is a set of queer SFF rewrites of Shakespeare plays!
