Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter Series Read-Along! discussion

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well!

Sorry if I haven’t posted much about the read-along or any discussions; it just that there are still a few people who need to join the group so I’m waiting for them.
I don’t really know how this group works 😅 I don’t know if you can just message the group or if I need to make the conversation first? If anyone knows more about this let me know! 💕

I’m so happy so many want to join and that your all excited to read the series! 🥰 (I just hope you like them, now that I have talked about how good they are 😬)

Like I said, I’m looking to do the read-along in June. If you would like I can do a poll and you can vote to what date you would like to begin the first book?
Also, to how you would like to do the read-along. My thinking on how to read the books is to set a date, have a 10(ish) window to read the book then once finished, on a particular date we will say to finish the book, we discuss the book for a couple of days and so people can write their reviews. The same thing for the next book and so on (I’m hoping 🤞)
Or we say to read this many chapters then discuss the book then read the next half of the book and discuss the book; then overall discussion once the book is done and people can write reviews.

HI!

This is a public group, so everyone will be able to view the discussion boards. You can make 3 discussion threads in an hour. There is a limit after that, but after an hour you can make 3 more and so on.

As moderator, you can delete comments that you find disrespectful, inappropriate etc and you can put the group info, banner and logo.

When you make a thread, everyone who is in the group and has notifications on will be notified.

As for the readathon, i think it will be better to set a particular date to start and finish.

We can discus as we read with spoiler tags.

How many books does this series have :)

There are 13 books so far with a novella between book 4 and 5. The next book is coming out in October.
We don’t have to read the novella if people don’t want to and focus on the main books. 😊
I know it a lot of books but I think of it as is if you can read like a 8 book series which the books are like 500+ pages each then it not that bad in comparison. All the books never exceed 500 pages they are mostly in the 300 odd pages. 💕
Plus they are very addicting to read imo as the characters progress and develop so much as years go by.
