Hi everyone! I know this is a more obscure fairytale so I wanted to shine some light on it. This is a Norwegian fairy tale about a brave girl who (in the original that is) wants to help her family survive through the brutal winter so she agrees to go with a cursed ice bear to live in his palace for a year and a day.

Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow by Jessica Day George An amazing one is Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow by Jessica Day George. I like character development and fluff though so if that's not your cup of tea, sorry. But hey! Still give it a shot. Why not? :) Happy reading everyone.

I haven't read that one yet, but it's been on my list for a while! What makes it a favorite?

It has a feeling of quiet magic that I just love. The chapters alternate POVs between 5 different characters, so you get rich characterization and motivations for all the main characters, including the villain.

Ohh I'm glad to see that you guys enjoyed East. It wasn't my personal favorite since I didn't really feel connected to any of the characters since there were so many perspectives, we only got a glimpse of each person. While I was reading, I also didn't like how the bear had the mind of a beast and not his own mind since it made it hard for the two of them to connect and build a relationship, let alone have a conversation. But that's just me. Some people don't like so much babbling in their story. I can see why you guys would like it though. This book just didn't hit my personal list of elements necessary for me to enjoy the book.

It was! Tapscott is just such a good author, and I'm super glad I discovered her.
