London rose a brow, “Okay I’ll back off,” he knew his sister could take care of herself but he sometimes got this protective streak in him that couldn’t be stopped without a lot of nudging. They went to his dorm, “Nope, no roommate yet, hopefully soon.” He opened the door for them both. “It’s a pretty nice dorm though, it has wide open spaces,” he gestured to the dorm then went over to his own bed. His suitcase sat on top, yet to be unpacked.

message 3: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "You don't have to completely back off, I'm just reminding you that even though I don't like throwing punches in peoples' faces, I can if I absolutely must. I appreciate you, you know that." She smiled at him as they entered. "Oh, well, sometimes no roommate is nice, you get some space to yourself for now, huh? And yeah, they're not bad!"
She watched as he walked over, and then opened his closet. "Wide closets, too. Here, what can I help with?"

“I know, I just get into my own head too much sometimes,” He began unpacking his suitcase, “I just think that sometimes you need someone to take on the world sometimes... I want to be that guy,” London had always felt a fierce protection for his sister, it was a natural instinct of his. While some siblings argued, he kept his close and did what he could to protect her.
“Oh uh if you can hang my shirts up?” He had a hint of a smile on his lips, he was folding his pants and putting them in one of his drawers.

message 5: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "And I'm that weak, huh?" She teased, a sparkle in her eyes, as she brushed aside some of her brown hair. "I know you're always going to be here for me, and I appreciate it. But remember, I'm here for you, too."
She nodded and grabbed some of his shirts. "What's so funny?" She asked as she started putting them on hangars.

London had to admit that he often forgot that his sister was there for him too, he was so used to being the big brother that he forgot he might need someone too. “Thanks Abs, I’m glad I have you,” He gave her a side hug before going back to straightening up his room, “Nothing, I’m just surprised you’re helping me put up my clothes.” London offered her a package that was wrapped, “Here I got you something in England while I was there,” London often got her gifts when he was away. (It’s a necklace with a diamond angel on it)

message 8: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) (Alicia, maybe you can ask if anyone wants to role-play in that section? And then find someone Vanessa can fight with. Because Abigail and London are a little busy right now ))

(Because you’re interrupting our RP, its common courtesy to ask before barging into someone else’s RP. Let alone throwing pictures into their thread)

message 10: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) She hugged him back. "You're so welcome." She then laughed a little. "Oh, I see. I mean, hey, I missed you and you have reading to do, may as well help," she teased, and then turned. "You didn't have to--" She carefully took the package, and set it on her brother's desk. Carefully, Abigail unwrapped it, and she gasped and looked up. "London, it's beautiful, I love this. I love this so much, thank you!"
She hugged him fully this time.

ellie (rebelkitten12) (also because I personally don't want my characters in a fight right now, it gets a bit tiring)

He watched as she unwrapped her gift, she was always so careful and precise. He grinned when she hugged him, “You’re welcome short stack,” London mussed her hair before sitting on his bed. “I was visiting this one store and they had a lot of jewelry, I mean a lot Abigail, and I saw that piece, it made me think of you, so I got it,” He was glad she liked it. “Do you want to try to order pizza to the dorm?’

ellie (rebelkitten12) She grinned and carefully picked up the necklace, snapping it around her neck. "I love it, thank you. And yes, that sounds great!" She put away his shirts and closed the door to the closet.

London went over to the sleek couch in front of the big TV, he pulled out his phone and dialed the number for the pizza joint in town. “Hey what kind do you want?” He asked as he was already on hold with the pizza place. London turned the TV on at the same time and went to Netflix, “Come pick something to watch, I mean if you want.”

message 16: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "Just cheese with some pineapple, thanks." She say down on the couch and quirked an eyebrow. "Hey, don't you have reading to do? You could do that and I could do some homework for an hour or so, and then we can watch something?"

message 17: by Leena, Extracurricular Person (new)

Leena (leena23) | 601 comments Mod
He gave their order and hung up the phone. “Yeah we can do that,” he liked her idea. “Let me get the books,” he went to his bag and retrieved his required reading and some notebooks to jot down notes in. “Okay, I’m ready,” he said sitting down on the couch next to her, “What are you gonna pick?” He would help her with her homework too if he needed to.

message 18: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "Science, I think," Abigail answered. "It's my favorite." She pulled her notebook and textbook from her backpack as she settled in next to her brother, and opened the notebook and readied a pencil.
She opened the textbook to the chapter they had to read and began to read it.

London glanced down at his little sister as she studied, she was growing up so fast. He was proud to be her big brother. “I’m reading Othello by Shakespeare. Here I’ll put The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on,” he scrolled through his to watch list and put on the show. “I heard it’s good,” he explained before pushing play. He went into reading his play, he didn’t really understand why this was required reading. He’d rather read classical literature, but he wasn’t hating the material.

message 20: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "Oh, Shakespeare!" Abigail lit up. "His plays can be fun, we acted some scenes out in English last year." She glanced at the Tv. "I've never seen that, actually--you haven't, either?"

message 21: by Leena, Extracurricular Person (new)

Leena (leena23) | 601 comments Mod
“Yeah, have you heard of the play?” He wasn’t willing to act it out, but he’d watch her do it if she ever wanted to. “Erm no I haven’t seen it,” London widened his eyes as Sabrina came in the tv. “She’s... interesting.” He then went back to his reading, the tv was more for background noise than anything else. He just didn’t work well in silence. London liked a little noise, he wasn’t sure about Abigail. “The tv isn’t going to bother you is it?”

message 22: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "I've heard of it, but I haven't read that one, though I think it's a tragedy. His comedies can be fun." She looked up as her brother did and stared at the tv for a second. "Huh. Me, neither. And no, it doesn't bother me. I don't mind a bit of white noise when I work." She leaned over her textbook, and then glanced up. "Did you know that most of the light we see from stars is actually millions of years old?"

message 23: by Leena, Extracurricular Person (new)

Leena (leena23) | 601 comments Mod
“Yes it’s a tragedy, but it has action and stuff there’s apparently a movie, I may check it out from the library later,” he raised both brows, “Good to know you’re absorbing your work. Do you enjoy science then?” He wrote down some notes from the play.

message 24: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "Oh, nice. Well, let me know if you watch the movie, I like action." She nodded. "Yeah, it's my favorite subject," she replied quietly, and then back to reading.

London went back to his reading as well, it was hard to understand all of the old lingo, it took a lot of concentration. He read a few passages before writing more in his notes. “I think this is going to be my toughest class,” he muttered before hearing a knock on the door. “Pizza!” He exclaimed before jumping up and going to the door. He gave the pizza girl some money and returned with the boxes. Personally he’d ordered pepperoni, he opened the boxes on the counter, “Time for a break,” he called to Abigail.

message 26: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "Oh, good, that smells really amazing," she murmured, and stood up, closing her notebook and textbook and placing them on the seat.
Abigail walked towards the boxes, her stomach rumbling quietly. "Do you have plates or anything in a box or a drawer?"

message 27: by Leena, Extracurricular Person (new)

Leena (leena23) | 601 comments Mod
“Yeah left drawer by the computer,” he pointed over at his desk, “there’s some birthday plates in there we have for emergencies,” he went ahead and pulled some waters out of the mini fridge for them. “I don’t have any soda, sorry,” he apologized while grabbing some napkins from another drawer.

message 28: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) Abigail nodded and grabbed the plates from the drawer, taking out two of them and placing them on the table. "It's okay! I can live with water." She took out two glasses.

“I want us to do this at least once a week,” he put their pizzas on the plates as he spoke “Us, dinner. We can catch up once a week and tell each other anything that’s on our minds. Because I know we could possibly get so wrapped up in school that we miss each other completely sometimes.” He just wanted to make sure they were both still growing alongside each other.

message 30: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "We should," Abigail agreed. "That would be fun, especially since it would be like a small taste of home in what can be a very crazy place." She smiled at him. "Maybe sometimes we can go to the bakery or cafe or something to change it up. Or my form sometimes."

message 31: by Leena, Extracurricular Person (new)

Leena (leena23) | 601 comments Mod
“I don’t mind us going out or headed to your dorm to change it up, I think it’ll be good to have some variety. Plus I’m sure you don’t want to hang out in the boys dorms every week,” he took a bit of pizza and chewed for a moment, “You can bring your friends sometimes too if you want. I don’t want you missing out on your social time.”

message 32: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "I don't really mind, but a change of scenery would always be nice," Abigail told her brother with a smile. "How's your pizza? I really like mine. Oh, hey, I'll pay for half of it, by the way, so we can split the cost. And don't worry about my social time, I'll manage."

message 33: by Leena, Extracurricular Person (new)

Leena (leena23) | 601 comments Mod
“You don’t have to pay,” he waved away her offer, “I have money, don’t stress. Use your money in something you want,” London made a satisfied noise, “I like my pizza. Glad we decided on it. We should check out more of the places that will deliver.” London gave his sister a smile , “So any girls caught your attention yet?”

message 34: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "Okay, so next week I pay. We keep rotating for when we eat out or take in," she stated in a tone of voice Mom used when she didn't bode arguments from anyone in the house. Abigail nodded. "Good! And yes, definitely. I've heard there's a good cafe, maybe they deliver cookies." Her eyes shone, and then she blushed but shook her head at London's question. "No, not yet." She shrugged. "I mean, maybe eventually, you know? New students keep coming in, and classes just started, so maybe there will be someone." She shrugged. "I want someone, though."

(Vanessa is in a sleepover ???)

London nodded, agreeing they would take turns paying. He wasn’t about to argue with her when she had that tone. He finished off a slice of pizza and grabbed another , “I’m sure you’ll find someone. You’re beautiful, intelligent. You got this, who wouldn’t want to be with my little sister?” London was very supportive of Abigail, and couldn’t wait to see her fall in love. He wasn’t in love, he might as well see his sister be in love.

message 36: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "Thanks, London. I hope so." She sighed; maybe she was a bit of a romantic, always wanting to find someone who she could make very happy and someone who could be that person for her, too. She'd liked people before, but they'd never shown and interest back, and she was always used to people at her old school avoiding her sometimes because she could be too cheerful and bubbly. Apparently that rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. "Hey, I'm sure you'll find someone, too, if you want." She took a bite of pizza, chewed, and swallowed, and then raised an eyebrow. "Do you want to?"

Leena (leena23) | 601 comments Mod
London smiled, she would certainly find someone. She had a great attitude and personality, he hoped she would find someone that rocked her world. “I mean, I guess? I don’t know if I really want to honestly. I mean I do, but I’m not sure if it’s the best idea. I’m really concentrated on school right now. She would have to be okay with that, ya know?” London shook his head and tried to get past the idea that getting a girlfriend could only mean problems. “How do you think our future significant others will be with us? I mean, I feel like we have a rare sibling relationship. I don’t see other siblings hanging out like we do. It’s more like they argue and try to stay out of each other’s way, ya know? And we’re just not like that.” He ran a hand through his hair, “Anyway.”

message 38: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "That's fair. But maybe at college you'll find someone; after all, you have more time there than here, just one year left before university." She shrugged. "I think you'll find someone when you're ready and if you want to," she stated confidently. "And I hope well. I know, a lot do argue, but I can't even imagine if we had that sort of relationship. You're my best friend and I like that." She shrugged. "You know, if whoever I end up with doesn't want me to spend time with you, then I'm dumping her. You're my family."

London felt more confident after Abigail spoke, “Me too. If the girl I get with doesn’t like whoever I get with, then she isn’t for me. Family is important to me, to us. We shouldn’t have to give that up,” he could imagine them having family dinners once or twice a week even after they had kids. They depended on one another, which if his future girl didn’t like that then she could his the road. “College feels so far away, yet right around the corner. You should come to Oxford with me, I think you’d like it.”

message 40: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "Exactly. Mom and Dad and you are my life and I may extend my life, but that doesn't mean I lose you three, too," Abigail stated. "And well, college is a year away--near and far, depending on what you look at." She smiled. "I've always loved England, so maybe. Whenever we visit Mom's family it's just so nice, like Mom was born there so I feel like I should live there at some point."

Elizabeth C. wrote: ""Exactly. Mom and Dad and you are my life and I may extend my life, but that doesn't mean I lose you three, too," Abigail stated. "And well, college is a year away--near and far, depending on what ..."

London was glad that they agreed. "Yes, I feel the same way! Mom is from England, so I would like to experience the culture there as well. Its like a connection that we could have with her after experiencing it for ourselves. And who knows? I may want to stay even after college. I don't know yet..." He also hadn't told their parents about what his major would be either, which would be a great debate.

message 42: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "You have time to decide," she assured him with a smile. "A lot of years, actually. When do you start the application process?"

"They'd like me to begin now, but I don't know. That's a lot of things to input. I may wait and talk to the school counselor, have him or her help me fill it out," London shrugged, "I just don't want to screw it up, ya know?" He then threw away his plate and shut the boxes to the pizza. "Next month we'll take you to tour colleges," He wanted to make sure she knew her options as well.

message 44: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "Oh, that would be good, they could probably help. Applications really long. And yeah, fair, it's a lot to fill out." She shrugged. "We may be able to, but I think we should wait for breaks, I don't want to miss school to tour colleges."

London figured she was right, it was better to wait for a school break. Of course she was right. It didn’t mean they couldn’t do something else in their free time. “We need to meet up for some fencing soon, it’s been a while,” he said with a smirk, he liked to fence with Abigail, she was fun. Unlike the usual stuff necked competitors that he went up against.

message 46: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) "Yes!" She exclaimed. "Although I'm only doing it with you--you know it's not my strong suit. But still, yes, that would be fun. Hey, you should see if they have a fencing club or something, maybe they do."

message 47: by Leena, Extracurricular Person (new)

Leena (leena23) | 601 comments Mod
“Of course, I wouldn’t expect you to fence with anyone else sis,” He gave her a wink, “We can practice tomorrow. And yeah, I’ll look into the club thing. I think it would be a hood way to let some energy out. What about you? You know clubs look great on college applications.” London threw her an encouraging look.

message 48: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) Abigail raised an eyebrow, amused. "It's all about college," she said with a sign, but nodded. "I know. And probably...well, I don't know. I heard rumors about a drama club and to be honest, acting has always been fun. So I may try and track down whoever is leading that."

message 49: by ellie (new)

ellie (rebelkitten12) ((also Georgie is in the club right? And if we're still wanting to do Georgie and Abigail maybe they could meet through Abigail's interest in the club?))

((Yes! Georgie would love for her to join!!!))

“Drama club huh? I can see you doing that. I would have record all of your shows for mom and dad of course,” he thought it was a great idea. London could definitely see his sister in drama club. “We should find out where that club is first thing tomorrow morning.”
