As with any collection of short stories, these were a little hit or miss, but I enjoyed the collection overall. This particular book was a treat to myself when I was finally able to safely browse my independent bookstore again last year.

I picked this book up at my local bookstore last year without realizing that it is a sequel. Fortunately, it can stand alone and is absolutely brilliant. It might be my favorite book of those I've read this year.

This was a Goodreads Giveaway and I happened to love it. Unfortunately, it did inspire reading more books that are not on my shelves (Mary Poppins and Agatha Christie novels).

This was another Goodreads giveaway and it was fantastic. Some of the best 'nature' writing available.

I picked this up from the Little Free Library last year. Unfortunately, I did watch the movie first, which spoiled the reading experience a bit.
