I'm so excited to be reading Tia Williams' new book and I really like it so far! How do you feel about the book? Any favorite scenes or characters?

Chapter 14 - Audre’s description of Lizette is the beauty of perspective. Lizette can be all the negative we are pushed to see her as and yet also this goodness perceived by Audre. I am very clearly a Lizette fan for how her character truly challenges the reader if they are open to it.
Good morning everyone! I’ve been really purposeful with reading in the perimeters set as not to spoil anything for the IG meetings…I just finished chapter 19 and 😮. I am going to try my very best to stop at chapter 24!

Audre and Eva's relationship reminds me of Gilmore Girls - especially the scene when they argued in the hall of Cheshire Prep. It's sweet how close they are! Audre is a very well-written character. Her thoughts and point of view seem very on point for a pre-teen.
