Hi! What are the rules you set in terms of DNF’ing a book? When do you decide it is the right time to shut an unfinished book for good? Do you wait until you reach a certain percentage? Do you DNF as soon as you are not feeling it? Tell me more!

- if I’ve been reading it for more than a month- I don’t like the main character(s)
- when I try to pick up the book, I get distracted and don’t want to read it
- I’m not enjoying reading. It’s a chore reading the book.
- it’s not for school or something that affects my life outside of reading for enjoyment
There are probably a couple more, but these are the basic reasons for putting down a book.
if i:- find my mind wandering most of the time while i'm reading
- find myself wanting to read another book
- daydream about doing other activities
- feel dread while reading it
- am just not feeling it
im not wasting my time
if i:
-Have to read the page over and over
-If it doesn't appeal to me
-If I don't feel like I'm in the story
-Have to read the page over and over
-If it doesn't appeal to me
-If I don't feel like I'm in the story
