What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Hi book lovers. I read this novel last year that I LOVED. i do not recall the name or the author. the story goes like this.
Princess is raised to marry/seduce this prince from another kingdom/world. The worlds are joined by this stone path that is very hard to cross and no one can cross without dying of hunger or thirst.
Now our heroine, princesses is secretly being trained in fighting for self defense .. both worlds hate each other as princess thinks other world is very cruel. (ofcourse that turns out to be opposite and her dad is the cruel one). Princess’s world is dying of hunger as the king hides all the food and starves his people. She won’t know about it till later in book.
the prince from another world comes for peace treaty and they both start liking each other. someone kills the prince... As retribution, our mistaken princess is kidnapped and taken to other kingdom as the murderer.. whose king is the elder brother of the dead prince and our hero.
Our hero's world has rings and outermost ring is filled with 'criminals' .. where heroine makes a name as a fighter after she runs way from our Hero.
can anyone tell me name of this book please?

Simi, is this series for teens or adults?

Is the princess kidnapped in her ninja disguise?
What weapons does she used, and who trains her? Is the term "ninja" used? Is she trained as an "assassin"?

Hi Kris,
She was trained in secret from her dad the king.. by someone from her dad’s army.
And no she wasn’t betrothed to prince.
This sounds similar to bridge kingdom novel plot but it is a different novel.

I believe there are multiple books in this series. I can only think of two books. I’ll need to change things in header.
I think most were combat training but I don’t remember weapons used.
I don’t remember but I am going to assume it’s YA.

Seems the heroine of Bridge Kingdom was sent willingly to the other kingdom, instead of being kidnapped. Also there is no killed prince, so the king is no elder brother looking for revenge.

Most of the other points are similar, but if the above are to be hold true, it is not Simi's book.

I searched and found this solved thread which mentions a killed prince, a kidnapping, a older brother who is the 'enemy' king, and a "void of rocks" separating different areas. Also mentions that the heroine's mother, the Queen, is who starves her citizens.
