Time for the 2021 Christmas Card Exchange!

Please indicate your interest by stating you want to join by 11/15. I will then confirm with everyone in order to get a final count. If we are not friends yet, please send a friend request so that I can get you the information.

I will send everyone who has expressed an interest a confirming email on 11/15. You must confirm your interest to be included. In the past, I've had several people each year not respond or else say it was something they saw once and forgot about, so I'll need your confirmation. If you signed up for the 2021 Halloween exchange but did not send cards, please take a break and reconsider your commitments. I will not be able to chase down anyone who signs up and does not confirm or send cards.

Once we have a final count, I will advise everyone of the total number of cards they will need to send. All cards and projects will be sent to one central address and I will mail out.

Cards will be due to me by 12/1.

NEW THIS YEAR - Because of Covid, I'm avoiding indoor locations where possible, so I won't be going to the post office to return the cards. I'll be mailing all cards individually, so you'll need to include postage stamps for each project. More on that as we get closer. In other words, if we have 20 final confirmed participants, you will need to send me 20 stamps. I will return any unused postage in the last card I send out.

Unfortunately that means this year I won't be able to send to international participants. Hopefully next year that will change.

Hi. Thanks for the question. As part of the exchange, you would send 1 card to everyone in the exchange, and then in return, you would receive a card from everyone in the exchange.

So if 10 people sign up, you'll be sending out 9 cards, and receiving 9 cards.

Does that make sense?

Hi.

Status, as today, 12/5, was the original deadline for receiving packages.

Someone dropped out and we're waiting on a few more packages.

I will start mailing cards out on Tuesday, after giving one more day tomorrow, 12/6.

They are suggesting Xmas cards be mailed by 12/9, so starting 12/7 should work out fine. I will catch up the late arrivals by mailing their cards as they arrive.

I have mailed personal Xmas cards that were received within three days, so I think we'll be ok.

The exchange cards that have come in have been fantastic so I hope you all love the exchange as much as I do.

Cards should start arriving at the end of the coming week!
