Apollyon was enjoying the peace of the lava springs, for demons these springs could be used as a nice place to go for a stroll or bathe, which was Apollyon's reasoning for visiting on this occasion. His long white hair that reached way past his ankles and perhaps another entire length of his body, was tied back to stay out of the pool. He had white skin like snow that could be found in the mortal realm but never here, and eyes that were the same. In the pool his full height was concealed, and when standing he was 7'2, and had a slightly feminine appearance.

Ephraim didn't really come down to the underworld often, but this time was different. Ephraim was supposed to meet this one guy at the lava springs. The two had known each other for a long time. The person in front of Ephraim was definitely not the guy Ephraim was supposed to meet. Upon figuring this out, Ephraim chuckled and slammed his palm to his forehead. He should definitely get out of here then, as his large angel wings would definitely cause a scene. Ephraim sighed and tried dipping a toe into the lava. It burned, but Ephraim didn't pull away. He kind of liked this feeling.

Deep in thought of the meeting he was going to be having with that annoying demon, Jael, his attention was quickly caught by the aura of someone to prefect to be down in his world. He looked over his shoulder at a man, he had long hair with gold at the ends, and large white wings.
He certainly isn't from here, Apollyon thought to himself.
He stood, his waist covered, his chest and shoulders were broad yet delicate. Not that it made him weak, not in the slightest. Taking a silk robe he stepped out the pool of lava and wrapped himself,
"Who may you be?" Apollyon asked him, removing the ribbon to let his hair fall.

Ephraim took a deep breath and smiled softly. He looked towards the person speaking to him with a warm expression.
"Ephraim Vespertine, a priest from the heavens. And you are?" He asked, bowing slightly as he introduced himself.
Despite his warm, welcoming exterior, Ephraim was ready to attack at any moment. Demons can be tricky, and the amount of times demons have snuck into heaven to kill someone is alarmingly high. Ephraim knew he had to be careful. Ephraim wasn't exactly the strongest person, however, he could definitely put up a fight.
Where on earth could Orrin be? Ephraim wondered, searching for the person he came to meet while trying not to break eye contact with the person in front of him.

"Apollyon, king of the demons," the demon stated introducing himself.
He nodded respectfully, the two of them weren't meant to be on good terms, but being respectful to someone powerful wasn't a bad thing to do.
The feeling was mutual, Apollyon was equally ready to unleash his own wrath if he needed to, and most certainly wouldn't mind killing a priest, in fact it would have been fun.

Ephraim smiled warmly. "I've never spoken to a royal before, at least not directly. It's a pleasure to meet you, your majesty." He bowed again, his white hair falling in front of his eyes as he did so. "Do you leave your castle often?" Ephraim asked. He didn't see the queen of the heavens too often, but maybe that was just because Ephraim didn't go the places she did.
His bright blue eyes darted around, observed the scenery quickly but carefully. This place is so different from where Ephraim lives.

Apollyon looked at this person, he could seen the purity from this Ephraim and it made him want to gag.
"A pleasure to meet you as well," he replied.
He would keep his composure for the time being, it would be best to see how this conversation turned out before he decided to fight. Perhaps it would be beneficial.
"My domain? I suppose not often, no," he said.
It wasn't like there was a castle, but more of an expanse he had created, it would only be entered though his creation of it. It was like ones dreams, though there was rules to these expanses.
Watching Ephraim closely Apollyon wondered what brought this being from above to his bellow.
"What is your purpose here?" he asked.

Ephraim stood quite still, the only sign of any emotion was the warm smile on his face. "I originally came to meet someone, however, he isn't here. It's unfortunate, I was looking forward to playing with him~" Ephraim chuckled and crossed his arms, his shoulders shaking softly as he laughed. "You may know him, you may not." Ephraim said, the words sliding off his tongue.
"I wish he'd hurry up, he knows how impatient I can be." Ephraim laughed again. "Or, I could just hang with you instead, how does that sound~?"

"I didn't expect a creature of your-" "How should I put this?" "Standard," he decided with a hum, "I didn't expect a creature of your standard to say such things," the demon replied.
He didn't smile, he didn't show anything emotion, either it was his personality or his simply didn't want to show anything to this man named Ephraim.
"I know many things, I very likely would know him," he commented.
Raising a brow at this comment, he turned, his hair seemed to have gotten longer. It trailed behind him like a tail, he looked over his shoulder, white eyes looking at Ephraim.
"If you wish to accompany me to a meeting then you can accompany me," he replied.

Ephraim laughed. "Yes, I suppose it is not every day you see an angel down here," he stretched his wings out, looking at them as he spoke. "Although you'd be surprised by the number of cruel things that can happen in the heavens. Not all of us are nice~" Ephraim smiled.
"A meeting, how exciting~! I'd love to come along." This would be the perfect chance for Ephraim to find out something. He could use that information to possibly bribe his son, or even better, the queen herself!

"I've never seen one down here," he comments.
Apollyon had already started walking, he listened to this man as they went.
"We'll by your choice of words, I've come to see that," he says.
This meeting was going to be long, meetings with Jael were either very short or drowned out and ended with one of them or both hoping to slaughter the other. Because of their ranks, cutting their necks or trying to kill them, did nothing as the head only needed to be pressed to the neck to reattached or if completely destroyed a couple minutes to regenerate.

(I'm going to make a topic for this, interaction between the four of them [Ephraim, Jael, Mercy & Apollyon]) (btw I hope I can roleplay with you, with the son I made for Ephraim, could be with him or his siblings)
