Description: Blonde hair, Green Eyes, Vest, White uniform
~Height: 5"5
~Hair Color: Blonde
~Skin Tone: Caucasian
~Eye Color: Green
~Identifying Features: Scars from the fights during her time in the Red Room.
Personality: Having spent most of her life in the Red Room, Yelena Belova is a cynical person with a very sarcastic, deadpan sense of humor, with a bit of a bent moral compass as she notably had no problem holding a civilian at gunpoint and stealing his car to evade from pursuers, much to Natasha Romanoff's chagrin. Despite this, Belova does have a strong sense of right and wrong, having no problem with helping Natasha take down the Red Room and freeing the Black Widows from being held against their will. Having felt abandoned by her family, Belova notably has a strained relationship with her adoptive parents and older sister, telling them outright how betrayed they made her feel when none of them came back for her. Despite this, Belova still cared and loved them, admitting to Melina Vostokoff that to her she will always be her mother, and telling Alexei Shostakov that he meant everything to her as a child.
History: Yelena Belova was born in the Soviet Union in 1988–1989. When she was three years old, she was assigned by Dreykov to play the role of the younger daughter of Alexei Shostakov and Melina Vostokoff, with Natasha Romanoff playing her older sister. They then moved to the United States of America to Ohio on a deep undercover assignment, although due to her young age, Belova was unaware of the assignment and believed them to be her real family. Three years later, in 1995, while playing in the backyard with Romanoff, she scraped her knee and called for her mother. Vostokoff came and helped her up and the three went inside. After dinner, Shostakov came and delivered the news that the family had to leave within the hour. As they drove away, S.H.I.E.L.D. attempted to arrest them with help from the local police, but Shostakov resisted them with a gun. Vostokoff, Romanoff, and Belova boarded a plane while Shostakov rode on the outside. The family flew to Cuba and with their mission over, the family was separated. As soldiers attempted to pull them apart, Belova clung to Romanoff while her older sister held the soldiers at gunpoint after taking one’s weapon. Shostakov then came and comforted them telling them that they were tough and that everything would be alright. The two were then sedated and brought to the Red Room. There, Belova was separated from Romanoff and trained to become a Black Widow, going on multiple assignments.

Age: 39 if this takes place in 2023

Gender: female

~Height: 5’ 3”
~Hair Color: red
~Skin Tone: pale
~Eye Color: green
~Identifying Features: red hair; scar on her abdomen from being shot by the Winter Solder prior to 2014
Personality: Based on the movies: Natasha really has a gentle soul. She is always there for her loved ones and strives to make everyone else around her feel safe and feel good. She doesn't blame many people, but when she's upset she will be determined to make something right. She truly desires to make up for all the bad she has done, and has a moral compass that's clear in her regret over her past actions, especially Antonia. Nat wants her family to know she loves them.
She is also a determined person who has a sense of humor, and as seen in AoU, and Winter Soldier, she likes teasing Steve Rogers probably more than anyone else. All this being said, she can be very dedicated to the missions and takes security seriously.
History: Natasha Romanoff was born in Russia to a father named Ivan and a mother whose name was never known by her. She was soon chosen by a program that looked at genetic potential in infants and taken by the Red Room to become a spy and assassin, where she was psychologically brainwashed for several years. Early on, one of her missions was to pose as a normal American family in Ohio with two adult agents (one being the Red Guardian, Alexei), and a girl younger than her who was like a sister to her, Yelena Belova. They lived a few years as an undercover spy family acting completely normal, but eventually when they were called back, Natasha didn’t want to go. However, after a harrowing escape where they were almost caught by SHIELD, she ended up back in the Red Room separated from Yelena. Through those next many, many years, Natasha was psychologically conditioned to become that assassin and spy, the Red Room’s best, but through her time there—learning combat, ballet, and spycraft—Natasha was able to keep some of her heart and would sometimes pretend to fail in what she was assigned to do. Eventually, convinced by the people running the room that she had no place in the world, Nat went through the graduation ceremony and was forcible sterilized to make everything she would do from then on out more effective, all her missions.
She continued on as an assassin and spy for Russia until she got on SHIELD’s radar in a way that made her an enemy, and Agent Clint Barton was sent to take her out. However, when he reached her location he instead determined to take her into SHIELD, and Natasha agreed to defect to SHIELD, her final step in that being killing Dreykov, the man behind the Red Room. She used his young daughter, Antonia, as a way to get at him and confirm his location before SHIELD blew the building up, and Natasha has always, whether she admits it or not, been haunted by the fact she had to kill Antonia (or so she thought) to get at Dreykov. Since that day, SHIELD took her in, and she eventually became one of their best agents.
She struck up a real friendship with Barton, even being the only eventual Avenger to know about his family and his farmhouse, even being called “Auntie Nat” by Barton’s kids. Natasha eventually also became a favorite of Director Fury, and sees him almost like a father figure. She’s been trying to wipe out the red in her own ledger for awhile now, partly why she joined SHIELD and the Avengers. One of her missions as a SHIELD agent was undercover work keeping an eye on Tony Stark in Stark Industries, and she was able to fool him and eventually help him and Rhodey when the events of Iron Man Two began to happen. After this, she stayed at SHIELD and worked as an agent, and in 2012 joined the Avengers to help stop the chitauri invasion buy fighting aliens and eventually closing the portal. She was eventually able to manipulate Loki into telling her his plan to tear apart the Avengers, though by the time she figured it out it was too late, and Barton’s attack on the helicarrier had already started. Thankfully she was able to break her friend from the brainwashing Loki had inflicted upon him, and was determined to help more than ever after Loki revealed he knew everything about her from when Barton was under his control.
Natasha remained with SHIELD, in DC, from then on, and this put her into contact a lot with Steve Rogers, who she worked alongside at SHILD. In 2014, both of them had to work to help bring down SHIELD when they realized the agency had been infiltrated by Hydra. Natasha had been tasked by Fury to retrieve intel the director believed to be compromised, and eventually it was revealed that Hydra had been inside SHIELD the whole time after there was an assassination attempt on Fury, which Natasha believed he died as result of. When she and Rogers and Wilson were eventually rescued by Rumlow and Hydra by Maria Hill, they realized Fury was alive, and Nat was offended that he hadn’t trusted her enough to let her know he hadn’t died. Even so, Hill and Fury told Romanoff and Rogers and Wilson about their plan, and Natasha infiltrated the WSC the next day and dumped all of SHIELD and Hydra;’s secret intel onto the web to help take down Hydra.
After this, she moved to the Avengers Tower, formerly Stark Tower, in NYC and joined the Avengers full time, where she and Cap helped train and lead them. She worked with the others to raid Hydra bases that remained and look for Loki’s scepter. They found it, brought it back to the Tower, but lost it again when Tony released an evil Ultron and everyone was attacked at the party. She helped bring down Ultron and stole Vision’s body from Ultron so he wouldn’t be able to gain a new, dangerous body, but she was captured by Ultron before she could see that through. With help of her knowledge and intellect, Natasha told Baron where she was, and thus where the fight was going to be: in Sokovia. When Banner came to get her out (and the two had feeling for each other), Nat rejected him in favor of finishing the mission, and with SHIELD’s help, they evacuated Sokovia and helped save people there.
After this, she went to the new Avengers Compound in upstate NY, where along with Steve she helped train and lead the new avengers, including Wanda, Sam, and Vision and Rhodey.
In 2016, she and the Steve and Sam were now working together to stop crime, and she was training Wanda to be a spy as well. She was able to help stop Rumlow from escaping with a vial, but in that mess Wanda initiated an attack, accidentally, in Lagos that killed so many innocent people, which was the breaking point for the world;’s governments and began real talk of the Sokovia Accords, which would monitor the Avengers and allow them to go in to help people only when the governments deemed it necessary. Nat sided with Tony at first and signed the document, and was thus present in Vienna for the signing when the bomb that Zemo framed Bucky for went off. Nat told Steve to remain out of the situation, but he went ahead and got himself arrested anyway, and Nat told him that was he was making things worse.
Eventually, she recruited Black Panther for the fight against Steve’s side, and at the airport in Germany she fought Scott Land and Clint. But this hurt Nat to see her family being torn apart, and in the end she eased T’Challa and allowed Steve to escape with Bucky, which landed her in trouble with the governments and the Accords and into a disagreement with Tony. Natasha left the Compound and went on the run from there.
She eventually went to Norway, where she planned to hide out in a friend trailer, but eventually found herself caught up with her past as an assassin for the Red Room when her former “sister”, Yelena, sent her vials containing an antidote to mind control that the Red Room now used to subdue its victims after Natasha got away years ago. She was attacked by Dreykov’s Taskmaster and eventually escaped with the vials, eventually confronting Yelena agains and realizing her sister had grown up and confused because she believed the Red Room had been taken down years ago. When she realized the horrible truth, she decided to bring down the room and asked Yelena for her help, and they broke Alexei out of prison who thus had them recruit their “mother”, Melina, for help. Natasha and Melina came up with a plan, and they infiltrated the Red Room, where eventually the four were able to stop Dreykov, free the Widows there, and Natasha was able to gather intel on the others and told Yelena to free them. She then had to deal with Ross, who was after her for the Accords, but got away after she saved Antonia, who was also alive and under Dreykov’s controls Taskmaster. Natasha then met up with Steve and Sam and helped break the Avengers Scott and Wanda and Clint from prison, and then went on the run with the others, hair short and blonde now.
They continued working in secret until 2018 and Thanos forced them out of hiding when they saved Wanda and Vision from the Black Order’s attack. Nat was present in Wakands and worked to try and stop Thanos, but ultimately everyone failed and half the universe died. In the next five years, Romanoff led the Avengers but fell into a depression, because they were her family and she missed them desperately. When an idea came to time travel and get everyone back, she agreed, and tracked down Barton, who had gone off the tracks as Ronin, and brought him back. Eventually, she and Barton travelled to Vormir for the Soul Stone, and she sacrificed herself for the Stone.
That being said, now that everything is reversed in this role-play, she came back to life either when Stones were returned by Rogers or when Banner reversed the Snap.
Likes: Avengers; SHIELD; her adopted families; her daughter, Alya; cats; ballet; helping people
Dislikes: Hydra; the Red Room
Powers (IF it fits your character): She may have slightly enhanced speed and strength, not much though
Other: For this group—has an adopted daughter named Alya Romanoff, who she had been kind of keeping an eye on in the Red Room for a few years and finally took in after Alya was almost killed in 2016 when she was on the run, right before she took down the Red Room itself.

Name: Maria
Middle Name: N/A
Last Name: Hill
Parents: Ed Hill (comics); unnamed mother (deceased)
Age: 36 (because she was Snapped; would have been 41 if she hadn’t lost five years)
Birthday: April 4, 1982
Gender: female
Sexuality: unsure; making her bisexual but leaning towards women
Appearance (NO AMINE):
Description: Hill has pale skin, blue eyes, and dark brown hair that reached a bit lower than the tops of her shoulders. She is about 5’ 10”
~Height: 5’ 10”
~Hair Color: dark brown
~Skin Tone: pale
~Eye Color: blue
~Identifying Features: blue eyes
Personality: Based off movies and agents of shield and that I’ve read up: Maria Hill is efficient, determined, and capable. She gets what she needs to done for the sake of security, even if it means doing so behind someone else’s back. She doesn’t believe the ends justify the means always. Hill is colder on the outside and very job-and-goal-oriented, and she knows who she is and is secure in her work even though she knows others dislike her. All this being said, Maria has a small sense of humor, as seen in AoU at the party and between her and Coulson in AoS. She isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes in, even if it means standing up to Fury and questioning his choices, and standing up to the Council and calling them morons to their face. For my own purposes: she has a soft spot for her daughter, who she loves dearly even though she struggled at times to raise and connect with her—they’re now best friends. Hill doesn’t;’t trust easily nor does she open up to others easily, either. She’s a strong woman who will fight for global security and make sure that Hydra never wins as well.
History: (basing this off comics bc not much is known about her in the MCU. Same birthdate though, and on my own made up background for my OC, her kid): Maria Hill was born in 1982 on a cold night outside Chicago. Her mother died giving birth to her, which left her alone in her father’s care. Unfortunately, the man blamed Maria for the death of her mother and never let her forget that, and he constantly abused her as she grew up. Hill eventually left her father’s house when she was seventeen or eighteen and joined the Marines, and since then has not spoken to nor seen nor heard from her father. She moved up quickly through the ranks despite the sexism she encountered, eventually becoming a Commander of her own unit. For my own purposes: when she was about 20, she met James Laughlin, a fellow Marine stationed in her unit, and he fell in love with her. She never quite loved him back, but desperate for some love and having no idea what it was like, she let herself go too far with him and eventually found out she was pregnant. Terrified, Maria almost planned to get rid of the child or give it up for adoption until an incident occurred that made her keep the child out of pride and spite. In 2003, in December, she gave birth to Caledonia Hill, a baby girl who shared her mother’s hair and face shape but her father’s eyes. Her father who had ran off about six months before the child’s birth. She fell into a depression for awhile after that, only raising the child out of obligation but feeling terrible about not being able to give her the love she knew a child deserved, that she feared she could never give her. But as she slowly worked on herself, she eventually began to realize she loved the little girl, it was all she could describe she was feeling, and she made a promise to never treat her kid in the way she had been treated by her father.
When Maria was about 23 or so, she joined SHIELD and very quickly rose through their ranks as well, eventually having her own field office when she was only about 24-6. It was at SHIELD that she met Coulson and Fury, and managed to strike up a spot of friendship quite the quirky but kind Coulson. Her work was efficient and strong, and before she was 30 Fury appointed her as his second, as his deputy director, and while she knows many agents dislike her and only respect her because of Fury—especially with her cold demeanor—she believes she deserves her position and even believes she could do better than Fury himself as director, calling the man reckless and filing many reports against him since she joined SHIELD.
In 2012, Hill was skeptical about Fury’s Avengers Initiative, believing it to be a volatile and risky idea, which she kind of saw proved when they all began to go at each other. That being said, she admitted that at the end of the day they did save the world, and she won’t forget that even if she didn’t think it was originally a good idea. She continued to work for SHIELD and thus inevitable became caught up in the Hydra problem in 2014. Throughout the Avengers, she pushed back on Fury’s orders, though eventually followed them, and helped defend the helicarrier from when Barton, under Loki’s brainwashing, attacked it. When she spoke to the council, she admitted Fury was reckless but that the Avengers did save the world.
In 2014, Fury called her in from NYC to DC right before he was almost killed by the Winter Soldier and Hydra, and Hill came to the Triskelion and was immediately made aware of what had happened, and she was present when Fury was declared dead. While she was in on his plan and knew he wasn’t really dead, it was still hard for her to see the man who was more of a father figure to her than her own was, lying helpless on a hospital bed and almost dead. She eventually took his body back to a facility that was secure and away from Hydra so he could recover and the two could plan to help take down Hydra.
Maria managed to save Nat, Steve, and Sam from execution by Rumlow and Hydra who they were caught by impersonating a Hydra guard and knocking out the other one, and she took the there to see Nick, explaining that any attempt on his life had to look successful—he was had director, after all. Maria had been arranging Fury’s funeral as well. She and Fury explained their plan to take down Project INSIGHT, and the next day she remained in the Triskelion’s command center, keeping tabs on the team and counting down how long they had to get everything done. She then change dit so the helicarriers fired at one another so they could never again be used to kill anyone else. After this, Maria Hill was the highest ranking SHIELD agent remaining, since the public believed Fury to be dead, who wasn’t Hydra, and she ended up under constant surveillance from other agencies and the government.
Hill had to attend hearings, which drove her a bit insane, even as she worked and joined Stark Industries after SHIELD fell because Tony’s lawyers were able to keep her form being prosecuted. While she did work for them, she also did it to privatize global security and remain on tip of that while also remaining contact with a not-dead Nick Fury. Hill helped Coulson and his team rescue Skye and she turned on the special forces, beating them up to help Coulson slow down Grant Ward, who she realized she had made a mistake with by trusting earlier on and assigning him to Coulson’s mobile command unit. After this, she vanished and went back to SI.
In 2015, Hill was still working for SI and helped organize the Avengers, providing intel on the Maximoff twins and Ultron when he went wild after he attacked all of them, Hill included, at a party. Since then, she continued to help them, and worked with Fury and Coulson behind their backs to track down Loki’s scepter, which was in Sokovia, and she told them where to find it. She was also working at Theta Protocol, dusting off an old helicarrier that she and Fury used to save the civilians in Sokovia. When the Avengers took a major hit, Hill went behind Stark’s back and told Fury they needed some help, and the man showed up on Clint’s farm, and Tony immediately knew Maria was behind this. Fury then took her for the helicarrier, and she took her place agains as the second in command to help Sokovia during the fight. After this she went back to the new Avengers Compound to help organize things and work on security.
In 2016, after the Civil War, Hill, and Fury, tried to get the Avengers together again but it never worked, and Stark fired her for insubordination when she was pressing him too hard, and so she left and joined up with Fury again for global security purposes. At this time, since for this role play SHIELD seems to exist, Maria and Nick re formed SHIELD and the helicarrier and she went back to working as its second.
In 2018, Hill was killed when Thanos Snapped away half of all life, and was brought back in 2023, attended Stark’s funeral, and is now back on the helicarrier.
Likes: SHIELD; her daughter, Caledonia; cats; reading; training; taking charge
Dislikes: Hydra; her father; James; sometimes Fury’s decision-making processes; World Security Council

Other: In this group, she has a daughter named Caledonia, who was born in 2003 and who she had with James Laughlin, a man she met in the military when she worked there. He ran off and left them before Caledonia’s birth and fell off the radar. He joined Hydra, unknown to either Hill.

Name: Clinton "Clint"
Middle Name: Francis
Last Name: Barton
Parents:
Age: 43
Birthday: August 19th
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Appearance:
Description:
~Height: 5' 10"
~Hair Color: Dirty Blonde
~Skin Tone: White
~Eye Color: Blue
~Identifying Features:
Personality: A man of few words, Clint has always been the silent one. He is often "up in his nest", which means that he prefers to be alone. In battle, he seems to be confident in his abilities. He even went as far as not to look at his target. He also stated that it would be his pleasure to fight with the Avengers.
History: Barton was placed under Coulson's command to investigate the site of a hammer crash in New Mexico. He witnessed Thor overpower the S.H.I.E.L.D. forces and lined up a shot but was ordered to stand down. When the Tesseract was being studied, he was assigned to guard the scientific staff studying the artifact before being brainwashed by Loki and forced into servitude. He continued to serve as Loki's right hand man, stealing iridium from Germany and leading an assault on the Helicarrier before Natasha overpowered him and knocked him unconscious, thereby freeing him from his brainwashing. Joining up with the Avengers, he coordinated Chituari flight patters with Tony in Manhattan. (Where he potentially lost his hearing) When the battle was over, he left to return home to his family. He was called back into action two years later when HYDRA revealed itself. In Sokovia, he was injured by an energy weapon only to be brought to cover by Natasha and Thor. He later took part in a game to try and lift Mjolnir before Ultron revealed himself and attacked the Avengers. When Ultron was tracked to South Africa, he assumed a high position to fire arrows at targets before firing a sonic one that knocked out all of Klaue's men. Wanda Maximoff tried to brainwash him but he managed to plant a taser arrow on her forehead, incapacitating her. He was then knocked down to a lower floor by Pietro (Quicksilver) before he carried Natasha and the other to safety while Tony brought down a brainwashed and rampaging Hulk. Faced with a lack of options, he flew the Quinjet back to his house where he introduced his team to his wife and children, much to their shock. When Bruce deduced Ultron might go after Helen Cho, he was assigned to to South Korea to protect the doctor and stop the A.I. During the battle he was relegated to air support before he was ordered to evacuate with the body Ultron had been creating. Back at the tower, he witnessed the birth of the Vision before he managed to pick up Natasha's signal in Novi Grad indicating where Ultron had retreated to. After the city had been lifted, he gave Wanda a pep talk when she became shocked by what she had caused Tony Stark to unleash. The talk payed off as she saved his life before all the Avengers rallied around the core to prevent Ultron from using it to destroy Earth. When all the Ultron Sentries had been destroyed, Clint returned to the S.H.I.E.L.D. lifeboats where he aided civilians to board. Running back to the city to save a small child, he caught sight of Ultron's hijacked Quinjet firing into the city. He was about to sacrifice himself to save the boy before Pietro pushed him out of the way, saving them both but expiring in seconds from the powerful artillery. Taking Pietro's body back with them as they left Sokovia, Barton returned to his farm intending to retire and spend more time with his family. His retirement would not last long, however, as Steve Rogers soon called him back into action to break Wanda Maximoff from her protective custody in the Avengers Compound. He was easily overpowered by Vision before Wanda managed to overpower the android allowing both to escape. He also picked up Scott Lang before all three went to rendezvous with Captain America in Germany. There they were confronted by the Avengers who had signed the Accords, who then demanded the rogues surrender lest lethal strike teams be sent after them. Captain America refused to back down and compromise, sparking an all out brawl between the Avengers. During the battle, Clint fired an explosive arrow at the Mark 46 doing no damage to the suit before he fought Black Widow. He later fired Ant-Man into the Mark 46 only for the size shifter to be ejected from the suit in seconds. When Ant-Man grew to giant size, Barton fought against Black Panther only for his weapons to be destroyed. He was then knocked unconscious. Defeated, Barton was placed in the Raft. When Tony Stark came to the Raft so as to speak to Sam Wilson, Barton made clear how angry he was with Tony for looking them in the prison. Tony however had very little patience for Barton saying he should have thought of his family and read the law before making any rash moves. This dismissive attitude enraged the archer who slammed on his cell and made clear he blamed Tony for everything that had gone wrong. The Avengers leader didn't even turn to look at Barton for the remainder of his visit. Stewing in his cell, Barton was freed by Steve Rogers with the result of having to go on the run.
One year after the Blip, Barton, now wearing a hearing aid, spends time with his children in New York for Christmas, attending a Broadway theatre musical about Steve Rogers. Barton leaves early due to being bothered by the portrayal of the Battle of New York and Romanoff. He learns someone has acquired his Ronin suit and is fighting criminals while wearing it. After rescuing the disguised individual from the Tracksuit Mafia, he unmasks her and finds out it is a young woman named Kate Bishop, a skilled archer who grew up idolizing him after he unknowingly saved her during the Battle of New York. Bishop takes Barton back to her apartment, but they are attacked by the Tracksuits and forced to leave the Ronin suit behind as they evacuate with Lucky, a golden retriever, that Bishop rescued earlier. After relocating to Bishop's aunt's apartment, Barton sends his children back home, promising to return by Christmas. He escorts Bishop to her work and then recovers the Ronin suit from a LARP event in Central Park. Later, Barton allows himself to be captured by the Tracksuits to learn more about their plans. Bishop, unaware of this, tracks down Barton's location and gets captured herself in the process. The leader of the Tracksuits, Maya Lopez, interrogates him on Ronin's true identity, to which he claims that Ronin was killed by Romanoff. After managing to free himself and Bishop, the two archers work together to evade Lopez and the Tracksuits at the Manhattan Bridge. Barton, accompanied by Bishop and Lucky, obtains a new hearing aid and then goes to Bishop's mother's penthouse to learn more about the Tracksuits using her mother's company's criminal database. However, Bishop gets locked out of her mother's account, and Barton is confronted by Jack Duquesne, the fiancé of Bishop's mother who possesses Barton's Ronin sword.
