Hi! I read a paperback in the '80s about two boys who were lost while rafting in a canyon (Grand Canyon?). While trying to survive they encounter a wild boy living among the rocks, who didn't speak much except to say "wowter," which I think meant "water," or maybe "Walter." Any ideas? Thanks!
