Phoenix walked into the bowling alley and grabbed a pair of shoes in their size and a ten ball.

Stacy followed behind and grabbed a ball as well. Er....she tried. It was too heavy.

They laughed, "Try a lighter one."

Stacy grumbled, but picked up a lighter ball. She walked over to the lane and bent down to line up her ball with the pins.

They set their ball down on the return and stepped back in to watch Stacy.

Stacy swung her arm back and then released the ball as she flung it forward. It flew down the lane and knocked down most of the pins.

"Nice." Phoenix said, walking up to the next lane over with their ball. They swung and released and hit a strike.

"Also nice." Stacy commented. She retrieved her ball and set out to knock down the other pins.

"Would you believe me if I said I've never been bowling before. Completely beginners luck."

Stacy grinned. "Wicked." She pulled out another ball and lined up to roll it.

They stood back by the ball return and waited for the ball to come back.

Stacy let it fly and it went down the alley like greased lighting. Funny enough, it left behind a trail of ice as it went. "Oops...."

They laughed, "Lil bit aggressive, don't ya think?"

Stacy shrugged. "I'm a little competitive."

"Don't worry, there's a high chance you're going to win." They picked up the ball, lined it up, and rolled it. It went way off to the left and only hit one pin.

Stacy winced. "Oof."

"Yea youre definitely going to win." They decided.

Stacy rolled another ball down the alley and got a strike. "I just might."

Phoenix rolled another ball and got the same result just on the right side instead of the left. "Definitely."

Stacy laughed. "Wanna go eat something? They sell nachos here."

"Sure."

Stacy walked over to the counter and ordered two things of nachos.

"You know in all the sci fi and dystopian novels I read when I was in middle school, this isn't really how I pictured the world ending up like."

Stacy nodded at that. "Yeah, it could be worse I suppose."

"Definitely could be worse. I mean, were immortal with superpowers. That's not too bad if you ask me."

Stacy froze. "Wait what? We're immortal?"

"Yea. At least from what everyone's reported. You didn't know that?"

Stacy shook her head. "Uh...no."

"Oh well. Were immortal. Yay. Now we can do whatever stupid stuff we want without having to worry about dying."

"But....that means I'll be fifteen forever."

"We don't know. We might keep aging and then stop when we hit a certain point. Maybe well stay teenagers forever. It hasn't been long enough to figure it out."

"Yeah, true." Stacy took a bite of her nachos.

"But for what its worth, if we're stuck. We're all stuck. I'd be seventeen forever."

"It'd be too bad....never getting to grow up. And you'd always be so close to being an adult."

"Yep. I mean, we could always still grow up. Mentally. Just never physically. I'm just curious as to if two people were to have a kid, would the kid be immortal, too? And when would it stop growing? There's no many questions that we don't have answered. Biology pretty much just doesn't apply anymore."

"Yeah...." Stacy chewed thoughtfully.

Phoenix nodded and went back to eating nachos.

Stacy finished eating and licked cheese off her fingers.

they finished their nachos and got up to throw the trash away.

Stacy waited for Phoenix to come back and started thinking of what to do next.

"Whatcha want to do?"

Stacy shrugged. "I'm out if ideas."

Stacy thought. "We could..um....run around in circles until we pass out?"
