Adley looked around. It was beautiful. Colourful lights shone onto the small crowd of people. The stage caught his attention. A man with black and white hair who Adley recognized as Acair, the lead singer, was chatting with the fans. Not many people were here yet. Adley and Vendetta were really early. In fact, besides the band members, there were only about 10 other people, so it made sense that Acair noticed them arrive.
"Hey!" Acair called out, waving at the two. Adley approached the stage, unable to hide his smile.
"H-hi!" Adley said, looking up at Acair. He watched as Acair kneeled down to his level and smiled.
"Who's that with you?" Acair asked. Adley smiled.
"My friend," he said, smiling at Vendetta. "This is my first time at a concert, but I've been a fan of yours since you first started out!" Adley said.
"Nice! I'm glad you were able to come!" Acair laughed. He turned around and pointed at each of the band members, introducing them one by one. "Maybe we all could chat more after the show. You two seem really fun." Acair smiled. Adley couldn't believe he was actually talking to the lead singer of his favourite band.
"Yeah! I'd like that!" Adley smiled. Adley was a lot more relaxed and happier. It was easy to be himself when he wasn't in the same realm as his dad.
Vendetta didn't look like the type to come to this concert. While others wore loose outfits and darker colors, she wore a light dress. Other than that, her face and mannerisms were well mannered and regal. Still, it wasn't as if the queen didn't have a bit of fun in her life.
She smiled at Acair and each of the members. She wondered what kind of music they played. Classical? Opera? Maybe even jazz. Vendetta didn't know the many shades of music there were and that was as far as her imagination could lead. It was a shock, considering she'd gone to earth so many times, but that kind of crowd had always eluded her.
Adley seemed so carefree. "I trust their music is wonderful, since you seem so excited," Vendetta stated. She was interested and curious, a small grin playing her lips. That was a genuine smile, a subtle one that only showed around certain people. Will . . no. Not now. This was a fun concert. Not time to think about him.
"Their music is amazing!" Adley said. He smiled and continued to talk with Acair until the concert started. When it did, it was amazing. Colorful lights danced around the crowd and circled the band members.
Adley turned to Vendetta and laughed "Aren't they great?" he asked. He turned to sing along, even though the music was so loud he couldn't even hear himself. He was so happy that Ephraim wasn't here.

Vendetta nodded along to Adley and Acair's discussion, not adding too much since she had no idea what songs the two meant.
She listened to the music, finding it interesting. She'd never heard a melody quite like this, nor heard the instruments ever used in this way. Before long, she felt her fingers drumming against her side, turning to Adley to see him grinning wider than she was. Each song was something new and crazy. Normally Vendetta preferred minimal lyrics as melodies had always been such a beautiful thing, not something she'd ever want to destruct with meaningless human noises. Their voices, however, spoke more volumes to her. The queen found herself leaning in, excited for the next verse. What a wonderful band.
Once it was over (which was much later) she excitedly turned to Adley. She still looked regal, yet there was something new. Vigor in her cheeks and a bounce to her hair. "They were astounding." From Queen of the Heavens, that was quite a compliment.
