Just curious but how many of you like the werewolves?
There was a moment when I liked the vampires more but after so much learning and reading and visuals, the werewolves became my favorites which I found surprising.
There's so much story there even if we didn't get much of it in the movies. At least we got a lot in the books which were great. And the illustrated guide by SM goes into further detail with them. I highly recommend that book if any of you haven't read it.
Though some might find it odd or even wrong, one aspect I love is the imprinting. Sure Quil and Jacob imprinted on infants but for them, there was nothing romantic, it was strictly platonic and brotherly.
I like the idea that Jacob is the one wolf that will get to live an immortal life. And Quil will at least stay with him until Claire is like 17 or 18. It makes them the only wolves to live that long which is very cool.
There are also so many great topics with the others too- like Paul imprinting on one of Jacob's sisters.
And imprints aside, I just love the whole shape-shifting aspect.
There are so many storylines to play with when it comes to the wolves. Especially since in the illustrated guide, SM says that there's a total of 17 wolves in the packs so the movies didn't do that part justice.

It makes me want to write more fanfics for them.
