I will be listening to it on audio!! This was also one of the first King’s I read as a kid so I’m curious to see what I think now!
I just got the book from my library. I've struggled to read King in the past, but I'm hoping that this will be the one!
Hey all! I just wanted to say that I haven’t done chapter or discussion breakdowns for this book because there are literally no chapter breaks or anything in the book! It’s been a while since I came across a book that does this (and it’s definitely not my fav 🙄). So I think I’m going to save my thoughts for the end so I don’t spoil things for everyone. Apologies! I just didn’t know how to break it down with so many different editions out there.
PS I started the audiobook today and I love it so far!

Suspected of killing Vera Donovan, her wealthy employer, Dolores Claiborne tells police the story of her life, harkening back to her disintegrating marriage and the suspicious death of her violent husband, Joe St. George, thirty years earlier. Dolores also tells of Vera's physical and mental decline and of her loyalty to an employer who has become emotionally demanding in recent years.
I remember loving Dolores as a character, and just really loving this book. I hope you'll join us! We start the read on June 1st and have until July 31st to finish. Take care!
