Avengers Assemble! discussion

I didn't care for this movie. Anyone else want to share their thoughts - either way?

I haven’t watched an Avengers movie since Black Panther (which I loved).

Better than I expected, but about half the jokes end with a dull thud and a couple of the emotion beats feel unearned.

Handled Lady Thor and the God butcher better than I expected and was enough of a fun romp to get me to forgive some stuff.

It's a middle of the pack MCU movie.

Sorry this movie was a no for me. It had some humor I guess but I didn’t like the plot whatsoever. Not terrible, just not as good as the other Thor movies

I don't like how MARVEL has turned Thor's pain into humor . I didn't like this movie , i mean.... it was lil bit funny but the new movies are not the same anymore . They somehow managed to kill off every Avenger someway or the other . Through pain , loss or death .

Unfortunately, some of the deaths happened because they lost the actors.
I don't love the humor. Really think you could trim ten minutes of jokes out and give the story more room to breathe, but I do like that they have tried to hit a balance between the humor and some good ideas and emotional beats.

It is little weird to me, as MCU Thor is written with the personality of comic book Hercules and now there are hints that they are bringing Hercules into the MCU.
So, that's strange, as they've traded personalities.
