Play Book Tag discussion

This book is a mix of memoir and advice on writing fiction for aspiring writers. Despite not knowing much about King, and nothing at all about his personal life, I found the first third of the book about King’s childhood and stories about his early writing career to be very interesting. I liked how he was very honest about his initial struggles to make a living as a writer, and how he showed that perseverance and practice got him to be the successful writer that he is now. There was a lot more humour in this book than I was expecting, and reading this book has made me more tempted to try some of his fiction.
