i think being lgbtq is totally fine, bc you should be able to love who you want. its their choice what they want, and who r we to dictate that?? also, whats rlly wrong with it? ik that for the people who read the bible, jesus states that man should not sleep with man or something like that, but older (and therefore more truthful) bibles state that man should not sleep with boy, condemning pedophilia, not lgbtq.

I think… that this should not even have to be a debate topic. It’s terrible that there are still enough people who are against it to make this a debate. What’s wrong with people loving someone of the same gender?!?! It has nothing to do with you, so you shouldn’t judge other people for it! People can’t control who they love, but you can control how you handle the situation. You should never be unkind to somebody based of their sexuality. It’s just childish. Same thing goes for trans, gender fluid, bi, pan, ace and all others. You can’t be mad about somebody for being the gender they are. They shouldn’t have to care what you think, either. I have an aunt who is married to a woman, and I have parents who are very open minded about the lgbtq community. If I were to bring home a girlfriend, they would treat her just the same as if she was a boy. And yet my great aunt refuses to even let my aunt in her house just because she’s married to a woman. It makes me furious.

Yeah I think it’s crazy that people are so against the lgbtq+ community. Because I just don’t understand hating someone for being happy with their gender/ sexuality and it’s not like it’s hurting or affecting you in any way. Also it’s not something that is new there have been lgbtq+ people all through out history. And the the fact that some people are using their religion to justify their disrespect is horrible.

I’m lbgtq myself and I don’t mind if you don’t support it but when you disrespect us and say/ do things to us is when I get upset, hell one of my closet gr friends doesn’t support hut isn’t against ((luv ya raini lol))

Also I don’t see how people can use their religion to prove themselves becasue I’m a catholic, strong in my faith, and never have I eber heard anything against it, he’ll I’m prettty sure Catholics support

Ofc they are ok. They're human. Like anybody else who isn't lgbtqia+. I fully support them.

However, I don't like when people use they're sexuality as a way of, idk, I guess defending themselves? Like for example, there's this tiktoker who tried to sing during pride, (they aren't very good anyway but that's beside the point, and the sing was a few mins long) (they're transgender btw) and the security guard said no. And then they were like "they're transphobic". It's transphobic because they aren't stopping every trans Person or stopping you because of that. It's just because they weren't allowed. That's what I don't like. But I support you and you deserve the same rights as us (us being me, being a straight person) ❤️

I couldn't agree more. I don't get why people care so much, so what if you like someone of the same gender, it doesn't change who they are. I'm lucky my family is very open minded, and would be fine if I were lgbtq. All I'm saying is how could you hate someone based on their gender or sexuality if they're a good person? I think it's terrible how families kick their kids out of the house it's beyond awful. No one should have to have all that weight on their shoulders. I don't think it's fair.

I think you can change your gender before you’re 18 but shouldn’t get surgery before you’re 18.

Being LGBTQ+ is definitely okay!! People can't change who they are. If you're gay, you're gay. If you're trans, you're trans. There's no changing that.

honestly i feel the same way but as we saw with the abortion topic, some people have different views, and this is just a way to let everybody speak their opinion :)

honestly, I can understand people having different opinions on the abortion topic, even though I'm very firm in mine. it's ok to have different opinions about that.

OFC I SUPPORT LGBTQIA+! Ok. So here are the reasons:
1. What if one of your family members/friends are lgbtq+?
2. I support everyone. Even if they are my enemy.
3. A lot of my friends are In the lgbtq+ era.
4. I love the lgbtq+ shows!

I do support. I am a trans man using they/he pronouns, bisexual and graysexual. The only thing I am iffy about is neopronouns. So I would ask the person if I could use they or it. I don't know why but its harder to remember and I kinda feel like they are made up. But if you use them and you do not want they or it I will try my best to remember just gonna be asking a lot "what are your pronouns". But I am supportive.

I'll be the first to say I don't support the LGBT+ Community. In real life and online, I've had some real bad encounters with some folks who are in the community. Now, I know there are some nice people out there who's in the community, but there are a lot more, I should say, toxic and perverted people I just cannot accept them doing what they're doing.

As someone in the community LGBTQ and have been SA'd by two people in the community I can agree.

I'm kinda in the middle. In my religion it's ok to be gay as long as you don't act upon those feelings (I don't wanna debate about it its what I believe and nothing will change that). But tbh idrc what ppl wanna do as long as they don't shove it down my throat.

I think everyone has the right to love whoever they want and be whoever they want! How they were born does not define them. I totally accept the whole LGBTQ+ community as a normal part of society.

The verses weren't about LGBTQ+ people, they were about pedophilia and were mistranslated on purpose. The words that meant anything about homosexuality were not added until the 1940-1950's. And this coming from someone who is queer and grew up in Christianity, my priests have literally said that God does not care and it isn't a sin to love someone

Like Grayson said, the versus were implying pedophilia and not homosexuality. For example, the verse that says Man should not sleep with Man, was ni translated in the mid 1900s. It originally said Man should not sleep with Boy. Implying that an older person should not sleep with a younger person. I too, like Grayson, am a queer person growing up in Christianity and my religious family supports, my church supports, my very very religious friends support. I’m not saying you have to support I’m just saying your reasoning isn’t true. I’m trying to tell you the actual truth. A lot of religious people use this false information as evidence so that they can be homophobic without people judging them, but it isn’t justifiable.

That is just a singular verse. You need to look at it with context. The previosu verses it says that male and female incestuous relations are prohibited: that verse is saying it goes the same way for men. It is a prohibition of incestuous sex between males. The verse prohibits sex between males within the same limits of kinship as the male–female relations forbidden in the earlier verses (parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren, and a few more distant relations).

I'm.. As a former LGBT+ member (I am detransitioning right now, but at a slow pace.) I can't say I'm a huge supporter. There's a lot of flaws with what I see, specifically on the labels and the neo-pronouns. As someone who's growing up with this RIDICULOUS generation, I was offered a different view because of how I was raised: My mom was 16 when she had me. I was not exposed to social media until I was... Well until a few years ago. I was thrust into this world of make-believe and idiocricy I couldn't come up with on my own. These.. Neo-Pronouns.. Come away from your biased opinion of them, and open up a little. See that, no person can be an object. We are NOT objects. Identifying as an unanimated thing makes no sense either. You identify, but you do not act. If you are.. a door, for example, "Door/Doorself" you'd have to be the door. Stand in one place and let people push you around. You do not speak, you do not move, you don't have the capacity to produce thought.
Scientifically, the human brain can't be inanimate, which in turn, means you literally cannot genuinely identify as an object. People who say these things.. their intention is really just to be unique, to be different, to be cool. To be "hip." Science has been completely forgotten in your.. in your insane ideas! Women, for example, have been fighting to not be seen as objects (another topic for another day because I hate that it's a "movement.") and yet here these children are: "Ohhhh I don't refer to normal and genuine pronouns, I'm an it. I am not a person. I am an object look I'm so cool." And it pathetic.
These kids, raised upon social media, finding self-harm and suicide and mocking people fun, thinking it's even remotely okay. It's not. "Identifying" as a non-human object is something that is not.. it's not natural. Nothing about human's these days are natural. We sit on our phones, clinging to "acceptance," the facade we've built for ourselves on transgenderism, biracial identification, neo-pronouns, and so much more, is going to crumble. And of you all, I won't be crushed.

This does not represent every aspect of my opinion, but it is a good introduction to how I feel.
