A horror novel that was not published by one of the major publishing houses.

Jamie Zaccaria | 19 comments I read #thighgap by Chandler Morrison (Cemetery Gates Media) and omg obsessed. What a terrifying and powerful story about the tragedy of mental illness. I felt as compelled to consume this book as the character felt compelled to continue her descent into madness. Brilliantly done.

Brenda Hudson | 4 comments One for the Road by Wesley Southard. Printed by Eraserhead Press.

Also, How Grim was My Valley by John Llewellyn Probert. Printed by Newcon Press.

Both great horror books that I enjoyed!

Whitney | 118 comments I read The Puppet King and Other Atonements by Justin A. Burnett. Burnett is the publisher of the ultra small press Silent Motorist Media, but his collection was publined by Journalstone.

Another fine collection to add to works by the literary children of Ligotti.
