What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I do not remember much about the book. The cover has a girl in a bathtub with plants and fish near the bottom of the bathtub representing a green ocean. It is about a girl who is kind of acquainted with an outcast girl who recently died in a motorcycle accident. One of the side characters teases the accident mentioning gory details about it. I think they live near an ocean or sea. I remember reading it around the near/end of 2018.
