Hi! My name is Olivia! I am a book reviewer and reader and would love to review/proof read for any aspiring authors! Hit me up :)
I’m Eric - creator of this group and I’m looking forward to reading all sorts of things my fellow indie authors dream up! I’m a physical therapist, health coach/hypnotist, and soon to be self-published author of The Shadow Spinner.
I started this group because in my research to self-publish I learned how difficult it can be for authors to get reviews and any sort of traction. I’d love to help the main way that I can - rolling my sleeves up and diving into books!

Awesome, thanks for joining! I’m poking around some groups of indie authors right now to see if anyone wants reviews - if something in those genres pops up, I’ll add it to our bookshelf (or something - still figuring it all out lol) and you can hop on!
Hey Everyone! Thanks to Eric for building this group! I also have a helpful group that features 2-3 authors per month, and hyperfocuses on their works, to encourage ppl to check them out! Sign up, if you are on FB, and check out the recent post where you can sign up for a specific month to be featured all month long-- FREE!!! https://www.facebook.com/groups/52267...
I am Seth Hobbs, btw, and I am also an author. My Epic Fantasy series is available now, with Book 3 coming out soon. Books 1 and 2 are already on Amazn and Goodreads! I look forward to working with this group! I will attach a link to my series page.

Happy New Year Everyone! :-) I hope your year is off to a blessed start. I would like to thank Eric for inviting me to be part of this group. The opportunity is appreciated.
Although this group is geared toward fiction and I am a nonfiction author I am grateful to be connected to like-minded book lovers.
I am a spiritual alignment specialist, mental healer, and author.
I am passionate about helping others to rise to their full power and potential. I help people through the chaos of their minds, into their hearts where they can find inner peace and for those who are ready, onto SELF where the bliss of existence can be experienced.
I have written a book series called the Mental Health Series containing three books. The first book of the series is Conquer Stress: The Overthinker's Guide to Peace and Happiness. The book helps guide the reader through the chaos of the mind to a more peaceful way of thinking and being.
It is available on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Conquer-Stress...
If you happen to be interested in this type of information, I would love to hear what you think of the book.
Wishing you all the best with your happiness and success.
Sincerely,
Nicole.
Thanks for joining Nicole!
I read her book, “Conquer Stress” today and enjoyed it a lot! As she said, it is a nonfiction work, but it deals with info we can all benefit from. Plus she advocates guided imagery to relax which is half of coming up with fantasy books anyway!
If you want to know more, you can check out my review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Hi, I am Victoria Liiv. I write fantasy, contemporary romance and paranormal romance.
I published my debut,Through Hell & Highwater on 2020. It is YA fantasy and I thought that's the genre I'll be sticking to writing, but the fate thought differently.
I can send an ebook to anyone who'd love to read it.
I started writing Angels Around Us, now renamed to Treasure Me, soon after and this one has absolutely no fantasy element to it. It's an emotional journey of a young woman going through a traumatic experience while falling in love with the only person there to help her. Treasure Me will be published in a Tease Me boxset on 14th February.
I am in the process of looking for ARC readers right now.
While busy writing Treasure Me I met Olivia Boothe and we co-wrote Afterworld: Road to Redemption that is a perfect blend of romance and fantasy.
I am currently writing the second book in what we expect to be a three book set.
Hi Victoria, thanks for joining! If you add your books to the Feedback Request folder, I’ll add it to the group shelf. Please refer to the guidelines for how to format the info. I’ve added Through Hell and Highwater to my KU and I’m looking forward to digging in soon!
Hi,Thank you for inviting me to your group. I'm a paranormal suspense author. The Dead Game Series, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07..., offers vampires and hybrids on their adventures as they love and fight through Florida to Quebec. Meet Me In Maine is the first book in my new series, The Blue Harbor Series, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0972C155B, where an Indian curse targets a harbor town in Maine, where our heroines purchased a bed-and-breakfast.

Hi everyone! My Name is Caroline, I've been a book-aholic for far too long without writing reviews. So to start this year under a new flag, I'm brushing up my social media, connecting with book-lovers in my home town and looking forward to the next gripping tale to dive into. So if you have created a vivid world packed with magical wonders, mystery, adventure and more send me something (Link, info,..etc).
With this I'd love to help and support new/young authors with honest reviews.
that's awesome, thanks for your support Caroline! you can check out our current featured book which is shown on the main page. I also know that our next one, Through Hell and Highwater by Victoria Liiv, is a fantasy story you might like as well!
Hello all, I'm Lynn.I'm an indie/SP author in the fantasy and children's genres. To date, I've published 4 fantasy novels (with another coming out soon), 2 fantasy novellas, and 1 kids' picture book (with a couple more in the works).
I'm also an avid reader and love discovering new books to read. While fantasy and science fiction are my favorite genres, I enjoy variety and like to read most other genres, too. Lately, I've been heavily into cozy mysteries.
I'm looking forward to supporting fellow indie/SP authors, sharing my books with readers who I hope enjoy them, and discovering new books to feed my reading passion.
(I also run a group here on Goodreads, a place for discovering indie/SP books to enjoy, for reviewing and getting reviews for your indie/SP books, and for sharing the writing process with other like-minded authors: Read / Write / Review Club.)
Thanks for joining Lynn! We’ve got a few readers who have joined who have expressed interest in fantasy. Please feel free to add a book or two of yours on the feedback request and I’ll add it to the bookshelf. I gradually work through the books there, giving one at a time a spot on the currently reading list which features it on the front of the group to make it more accessible to the other readers to view.
Hello, everyone! My name is CL, and I'm an author of romance novels. But I also spend a lot of time reading and would be happy to give other authors feedback on their novels.
My messages are open for requests or whatever =)
Hello, I am Dave Asthouart. My self-published debut novel, 'The Unnatural Woman' is listed here on Goodreads and is available on Amazon (paperback and kindle). I am happy to email anyone a free PDF of the manuscript for review purposes. I would describe it as a dystopian fiction centered on one woman's personal battle in deciding whether to follow her principles or societies rules/expectations. The story broadens out however since her personal struggle exists within a changing society. [The novel is the first in a trilogy. The second book - The 'Red Dress' is published (but not listed on Goodreads) and the third book, 'The Eternals' I hope to publish by the end of February]. Many thanks for the group and to anyone in the group who wants to read and review.
Hi CL and Dave, thanks for joining! If either of you want to request specific feedback on a book, please post in the feedback requested topic. Looking forward to reading your work!

Hello CL. I seem to have joined this group just after you. My book is not romantic fiction so may not be up your street but have a read of my post requesting review and let me know if you are interested. Many thanks, Dave Asthouart
Thanks to Eric for contacting me and inviting me to this group, and nice to see a couple of familiar faces around here already. For those who don't know, I'm an author of novels that fit predominantly within the fantasy genre but also pull on sci-fi and real science, since that is my background.
My work is currently split between 2 series. First, the Majaos Trilogy, which is high fantasy that seeks to twist the standard tropes of that genre and turn them on their heads. Second is the ongoing epic fantasy/magical sci-fi The Salvation of Tempestria. That currently stands at 5 books, but there's plenty more to come.
Since discovering Goodreads and learning that indie publishing was a thing late 2020, I began to explore other people's work in 2021 and 50% of the books I read in 2022 were indie published. I aim to do the same this year.
It might take me a bit to explore what people have to offer aorund here as my reading schedule is ironically booked up, but I will. On the flip side, when I find an author whose work I enjoy, I'm a loyal reader will, given time, devour everything you've written.
Hey Gary, thanks for joining! Looking forward to reading your work - go ahead and post on the feedback requested and I’ll add your book to the bookshelf!
Hey everyone! Fellow booklover here and indie author; I hope everyone's year is shaping up great so far! I started my writing journey in poetry back in 2015, but I've since moved on to novels, short stories, and novellas, and I'm currently writing a play! My debut novel was "I've Never Danced," and the sequel is coming out this year.
My comfort zone with writing and reading is Literary and Contemporary Fiction, but over the past year, I've been branching out. And I'm a little obsessed with reading logs and adding quotes from books I like. Cheers, everyone!
Are you a dendrochronologist or is that a typo? If it is a typo ... then it is a lovely idea so please don't change it! :)
My name is Steve Todd and I'm a first time author for my memoir, "Goin' back to Californ-I-A." This is a non-fiction book about my church mission adventures to sunny Southern California about 30 + years ago.So, my question is, do y'all accept genres in non-fiction? Pls. let me know. Thx, Steve Todd
Eric, Two quick questions. 1. As I was navigating through Goodreads for the first time, somehow, I added a book to my CURRENTLY READING list. Not that I don't want to read it, but I wanted something more in my preferred genre for my first read and review. How do I remove it from my list?2. I read the instructions on How to get feedback 1. Your name and introduction, to 7. Synopsis, but exactly where do you start? Where do you put your name and book title?
Thanks, John
Hello BA, Steve, and John! Thanks for joining.
To BA: I’d love to add your work to the shelf, please follow the instructions on Feedback Requests to include the information if you want to add your book to the group.
To Steve: we are only in the fiction genre, sorry. I assume there are other groups that read non-fiction and you would get much more traction there. Good luck!
To John: if you go to ‘Your Books’, you will see a list of the books you’ve added. Next to the book, is an ‘edit’ button. Click that and you can change the ‘shelf’ to ‘to-read’ if you want to read it later. If you don’t want to read the book at all, instead of clicking ‘edit’ you can just click the ‘x’ and it will delete the book from your section.
To fill out the feedback form, you can list your name and book title under 1. If you don’t fill it out fully, I can also message you and get the information needed.
