My favorite part of the novel In the Time of Our History would be chapter 29. Yusef arriving to Jafar’s apartment to confront him and and nephew Kareem. It was refreshing to know that Yusef took Mitra’s letter seriously and wanted vengeance for Anahita.
I loved this book so much, it was easy to enjoy the characters and really get to know their personalities. I loved the family secrets and little twists.

I am looking forward to February’s read too, I’ll go buy it now!

Leeanne Wheeler | 4 comments I loved this book! It was good to see Shireen come into her own and be happy, but also to show Yusef how it is to feel alone. I think he loved her, he wouldn’t sell the house, but was so accustomed to the old world ways he didn’t know how to change.
I loved when Yusef went to confront his nephew after reading Mira’s letter! I’m glad he trusted her!
Looking forward to reading the next book.

Hi Alicia - thank you for sharing your thoughts! I totally agree - the character story arcs throughout the whole novel really made me feel like I knew them. It's definitely a book that stays with you long after you're done.

We just posted this month's read - can't WAIT to see what you think of this one! -Admin KM
