Maddie walked in, yes she may have had normal features but you could tell she was hiding something. "Is this Weathervane?"

"Yep!" Grayson followed her.

"It looks cozy...kinda" she says as she was looking where to sit

"Huh..." she says as she walked to a booth. "Do you wanna order prick?" she asked him as she was keeping her guard up still

"You can order first, B!tch." Grayson replied.

She flipped him off as she went to order and the barista was trying to flirt with her but she just shook her head in annoyance. She hated when people flirted it disgusted her, "Your turn prick"

Grayson ordered, he came back.

She sighed as she was looking at her cup

"What?"

She jumped up a bit as she looked at him, "Yes?" she asked him as she was trying to cover her scars

"Is your drink not OK?" Grayson asked, surprised at her reaction.

"I'm fine, I mean it's fine" she says to him

Grayson nodded, "OK..." he said skeptically.

she shrugged

Grayson drank his coffee.

"What'd you get prick?" she asked as he drank his coffee and she was looking at her tea

"Good ole black coffee, you b!tch?"

"Blackberry green tea, just like my soul" she says as she half-heartly smiled at him as the tea was a bit dark but also light

Grayson smiled, "Yeah."

"What's that? Is that a smile?" she says as she points to his smile, she like pointing things out to people that don't usually smile

Grayson frowned, "NO! Of course not!"

"You did! I made you smile, didn't I?" she says as she laughs and takes a drink

"Nnahh...." Grayson said.

"Then, why did you smile?" she asked him as she her eyes were glistening

"I didn't." Garyson said stubbornly.

She gave up and nods, "If you say so..." she looked around, the scars showing faintly

Grayson noticed them, "Are those different scars?"

"Yeah, why?" she asked him wondering why he was asking

"Are you OK?" Grayson asked, a concerned look on his face.

"Do you wanna know the story?" she asked him as she was saw that others came.

"Sure." Grayson nodded.

"I had a girlfriend when I was younger, she was a werewolf...like you. Someone poisoned her with rabies, she went rabid and she got wicked strong. She didn't remember me, she clawed me a few times and that was that"

Grayson nodded, "Oh. I'm um sorry."

"She died that night" she said to him

"Oh..." Grayson said quietly, looking down awkwardly.

She realized what she said and she started packing up, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that..." she got up to leave

"No, no stay!" Grayson said, also getting up.

"Why?" she asked him as she slowly sat back down

"I like hanging out with you..." Grayson said shyly, "You have a certain air..."

"A certain what?" she says as she heard the word air. "Did you say air?"

"I don't know..." Grayson sighed.

"You like my company?" she asked him as she scootched to where she was last time.
