Well, we are letting girls do stuff and that always pisses off the internet.
Not perfect, but just a solid, mid-level sci-fi romp.

Well, I for one am amazed at the amount of 'experts' on Kang and MODOK that have suddenly appeared on the internet.
My quick-take on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania... without spoilers...
It's a decent movie, but seems to be a set up for Kang and for Cassie... that more than developing existing characters... and I think that is where the MCU is right now - bringing in more characters after Endgame.
But please - feel free to share your thoughts...

This had a very safe script, and was intent on setting up phase 5.
It is saved by a solid cast and enough good ideas to distract from the weak spots.
The MCU (both film makers and fandom) can get a bit too caught up in 'what comes next?' and 'how does this fit into the grand design?' that it sometimes feel you are in the minority if you are just sitting down and watching the movie and judging it as a single thing.

Watching the extras on the Quantimania blue ray, and lord, the Bill Murry thing just gets more cringey the more they show and talk about it.

Won't go too spoilery, but the guy playing King is a crazy good actor, Michelle Pfiefer walks off with every scene she's in, and there's only a couple stumbles.
Hearing grumbles online, but I'm not getting the hate.
