25.4 - Delicious Dee's Task: Ted Lasso!

It was recently announced that season 3 of Ted Lasso would premiere on March 15, 2023. To say i’m excited is, likely, understating my excitement (mostly because of how season 2 ended). So let’s BELIEVE and celebrate in the return of Ted Lasso.

For this task you will flip ONE coin (https://flipacoin.fun/)
HEADS - Use Season 1.
TAILS - Use Season 2.

Alternately, if you don’t want to use season 1 or 2, you may use Option 3.

No Books with the genre Childrens or Kids may be used.

REQUIRED: State the option and/or the result of your coin flip

Option 1- HEADS - SEASON ONE
Season 1 sees Ted Lasso (Jason Sudakeis) hired by Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) to be head coach of AFC Richmond.

For this option, at least one book, must be #1 in a series of at least 3 published books. The series name and number must be indicated in the GR title listing in grayscale italics above the title.

Book 1 – Read a book where a single author shares a name with one of the actors who appear in the MAIN cast of Ted Lasso.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Las...
Names must match exactly but may be in any position.
Required: State the actor's name.
i.e. Infinite (first in series, JEREMY shares name with Jeremy Swift)

Book 2 – Read a book where a word from one of the SEASON ONE episode title names appears in the book title. The word must be at least four letters and must match exactly. Subtitles are excluded.

Required:: State the episode name
i.e.Children of Blood and Bone– Children for Episode 4 - "For the Children"

OPTION TWO - TAILS – SEASON TWO
Season 2 opens halfway through AFC Richmond’s season where the team is defying all odds and predictions in their performance.

For this option, at least one book, must be #2 in a series of at least 3 published books. The series name and number must be indicated in the GR title listing in grayscale italics above the title.

Book 1 – Read a book where a single author shares the name with one the main CHARACTERS in Ted Lasso.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Las...
Required: State the character name.
i.e. Steel Princess by Rina Kent for Roy Kent, #2 in series

Book 2 – Read a book where a word from one of the SEASON TWO episode title names appears in the book title. The word must be at least four letters and must match exactly. Subtitles are excluded.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Las...
Required: State the episode name.
i.e. Christmas Carol Murder – CAROL for episode 4 - "Carol of the Bells"

OPTION 3 - SEASON THREE
Alternately, if you don’t want to flip a coin, you may read ONE book of at least 600 pages that is #3 in a series where either
A. ALL the letters BELIEVE appear in the title/subtitle, or
B. ALL the author's initials can be found in TEDLASSO
The series name and number must be indicated in the GR title listing in grayscale italics above the title.
The Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch – SL found in TEDLASSO, #3 in series and is 600+pgs

Robin P | 1719 comments Just clarifying - for the word in the episode title, it must be found "intact" and standing alone, right? So the word THING can't be found in NIGHT or in SOMETHING? And what about THINGS?

I adore Ted Lasso!

Yes that’s correct - the word must stand-alone and I’ll clarify must match exactly

BUT i flipped heads

So The Walled Garden Sarah Hardy fits author

andEssex Dogs fits word from title (Dogs in the Diamond Dogs) and is #1in a series

Page count doesn't matter if doing option 1 or 2 is this right

Robin P | 1719 comments Does "single author" mean I can't use a book with 2 authors, one of which matches a character (for season 2)?
