Hey readers! What has been your favorite book of 2023 so far?

- Admin SL

♥ Sandi ❣ | 155 comments I hardly ever rate books a 5 star, but my year this year began with a 5 star rating - Lark Ascending Lark Ascending by Silas House by Silas House

Then just recently I read a John Boyne book All the Broken Places All the Broken Places by John Boyne which comes in very very close

Thanks you for sharing your two top reads, Sandi, as they are perfect adds for me! I love Dystopian Fiction and I recently read The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. I added and placed both audiobooks on hold at my local library. A bit of a wait, I'm afraid, but I'm very excited!

Jazzmin Glover (jazzminli) | 8 comments I have read some great ones already so far!
I really loved A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
It hit me in all of the places. So poignant and so well written.
It’s a classic, but it really is so beautiful.

Ann Stoudt | 12 comments # 1 0n my list is " The Ordeals of Elly Robin". By P. D. Quaver The first book of a series is also called "The Ordeals of Elly Robin. It is great, with great detail and great.
#2 would be David Baldacci's "The Fallen"
#3 "Vegetariana: A Rich Harvest of Wit, Lore, & Recipes" by Nava Atlas This is a cookbook BUT it is not just a cookbook!! There are stories, literary quotations, folk wisdom, botanical lore, and historical anecdotes. along with illustrations. This is a Vegan cookbook, BUT could be used by any cook who wants to add (the un=said word!
