G&E Roger & Barbara (competitive)
I am rather confused and there is no Q & A thread. Do we just read books that fit our class list on our own time or is there some schedule to things? Do you have any idea?I posted question in rules thread. I don't want to start reading and find out I'm doing it wrong.
Sorry, I have multiple challenges running and I can only post 3 threads per hour per GR rules. The Q&A thread is up and I answered your question in the signup thread.
@ RogerIn case you were wondering, here's the answer to my question.
You will read books that fit the tasks for your classes to "prepare" for your tests. Those tasks may be read in any order at your pace. Your "tests" will be at a faster pace on a specific schedule that is posted in message 1.

How it Fits: Page 84 Working with Jesse was familiar and always inspiring—he was an amazing musician—but recording with Nick and Shane really revved up Surya’s excitement because they were new. This was uncharted territory for all of them, blending their styles to try to create something fresh and appealing to a broader audience while trying to preserve enough of their respective sounds so as not to displease the fans they already had. It was a fine line, but Surya thought they’d found a good balance, and the results were coming together beautifully.

What happens if we read all the tasks before the final test?
Good question, let me think about it. I wasn't expecting any of you to read 9 or 10 tasks in one week.
Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "Good thing we were paired up, no other team is even close to where we are."
That wasn't fate. I checked your averages and paired up everyone as closely as possible based on their averages. Only one team was further than 1 or 2 books in their average.

In the us vs godzilla challenge I signed up as super fast and my team mate and I are already on the Fifth of ten battles. Knock myself down to fast so I could have a Teammate. It not unusual for me to read 10 books in one week.
Just try not to wear yourself out. I can read at that level also but I wore myself out (doesn't help that I have iron issues). Now I am taking it easy. Remember this is for fun.
I usually read a book a day so this pace is normal for me. I'm also doing numerous challenges and so far these books were not actually chosen for this challenge...I've just gotten lucky, so far.

The rule change is this**************************************
I am going to modify an answer that I gave. Each task can only be done once except for the '5 Rules of Surviving Fairy Tales' task. You may do each word once. So you may read up to 10 books for that task @ 5 points each.
**************************************

3-month
Partner challenge
Runs April - June 2023
Welcome to the School for Good & Evil. The first thing that must be done is that every student must decide if they are inherently good or evil. You can only study one or the other here at this school. One partner must study good and the other must study evil.
Once you have decided which line of study that you will follow, you can find your classes here. To prepare for your 3 tests, you will want to complete as many tasks as you can. Only the most prepared heroes & villains will pass their finals. Oh, and you will be competing against your partner in the finals. Good luck and may the best side win!
*Please note that the 3 tests will run over 3 different weekends. Each test will require one book (minimum 100 pages) that must be read in a 2-day period. You will get one day to study and prepare for your test. Books cannot be started until the test begins. The winner will be determined by whoever wins 2 of the 3 tests. The winning partner will get 100 bonus points. The books for your regular classes will be done at your pace and only be scored if you complete them.
Testing Schedule

Circus of Talents: May 20-21
