I cried so many times during this book. Cassandra Clare really knows how to tug at my heartstrings.

Let me explain what happened: I didn't cry immediately when Kit died because I thought he wasn't actually dead. Convo that went on in my head when Kit was mortally wounded: "Nah, Cassandra wouldn't kill him off. He's Kit. Why would anyone want to hurt him. That would be like kicking a puppy." I only started crying a few pages after that scene when I realised there was noooooo coming back.
I also cried when he came to Grace as a ghost and encouraged her to finish the project thingy.
