It's been way too quiet around here. I'm curious: what has everyone has been reading lately? Anything good?

Stuff I finished this year;
* Nine Princes in Amber by Zelazny (re-read)
* Bone: Out From Boneville by Jeff Smith (graphic novel)
* The Jade Setter of Janloon by Fonda Lee (novella companion to her Green Bone Saga)
* The Jewel in the Skull by MM
* The Hellbound Heart by Clive Barker (re-read)
* Gateways to Abomination by Matthew Bartlett (horror short story collection)
* The Weight of Memories by Cixin Liu (short story from the writer of The Three-Body problem)
* The Hobbit (another re-read)
* The Time of Contempt by Sapkowski (Witcher novel)
* Perfect State by Brandon Sanderson (novella in his Cosmere setting)

I'm in the middle of a few books now;
* Eleventh Cycle by Kian Ardalan (an impressive self-published book that has Elden Ring/Dark Souls vibes)
* Wool by Hugh Howey
* Dune by Herbert
* The Waste Lands by King (the third Dark Tower book)
* The Three-Body problem by Cixin Liu
* Yokohama Station SF by Yuba Isukari
* Bone: The Great Cow Race (2nd graphic novel)
* The Scarlet Gospels by Clive Barker
* Madman volume 2 by Mike Allred (graphic novel)

How about everyone else?

How about everyone else?
Except for TTRPG books, I seem to be in a reading doldrum.

Nevertheless, I've got the following SFF reads sitting beside the bed:
* The Best of John Brunner
* Cautionary Tales by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro
* Motherlines by Suzy McKee Charnas
* Tailchaser's Song by Tad Williams

Oh, and my daughter recently got me to buy Circe by Madeline Miller and it looks fairly intriguing.

Which TTRPG books have you been reading? I’m a bit TTRPG guy too.

Recent TTRPG reads have included:

* Halls of the Blood King by Diogo Nogueira (adventure for Old School Essentials)
* Mothership Sci-Fi Horror RPG
* Errant - A Fantasy Role Playing Game by Ava Islam
* Cryptworld (a reprint/reworking of the old Chill TTRPG)
* Labyrinth Lord (reworked Basic/Expert D&D)
* Advanced Edition Companion for Labyrinth Lord (adds 1st ed AD&D options to Labyrinth Lord)
* Basic and Expert D&D rulebooks
* Bit of Rules Cyclopedia
* 1st ed AD&D PHB and DMG
* Dragon Lords of Melnibone, Adventuring in a Dark World of Law & Chaos D20 sourcebook
* Randomly browsing the first 110 issues of Dragon magazine (hint: Internet Archive)

I suppose the secret is that I'm not really reading so much as browsing anything that isn't essentially a short pamphlet.
