I have the bigges tlist I can make of the Gone characters in the roleplay. :) You can check there.
Hmmm. I already answered this one before. Sam is my favorite. He's so realistic and brave. Astrid is cool and I respect her character. Diana is one of my favorites. :) She's such a bad girl but she wants what's right. Drake creeps me out. Edilio is loyal and I like that about him. Lana was cool in the first book but now she annoys me. Brianna is cute. Dekka is one of my role models. Quinn is interesting because he is what I expect to be an average person. He's not brave and is easily scared and will betray people. That's what most people would probably do. Not everybody is brave. Little Pete is creepy but he's cool. Caine is interesting and he's sort of annoying. He thinks he's so tough but Sam always just kicks hit butt.

Sam: love him. Astrid: something about her buffs me. Edilio: AWESOME!!!! Caine: is creepy Drrake: Gives me nightmares
Sam, I hate him. Astrid, Hate her more. Quinn, The best! Edilio, cool. Albert, cooler. Caine, HE'S THE BEST AND MOST WONDERFULLEST CHARACTER! Drake, AWESOMENESS! Little Pete, Cute :). Diana, ugh, hate her. Computer Jack, coolest. Mary, nice. John, cool. And finally: The Gaiaphage, THE MOST EPICEST THING TO HAPPEN IN THE FAYZ!!!!!!! :P
I have a crush on a fair amount of the male characters in this series. XD
-Quinn (very, very much! He's so adorable, and I just want to give him a hug every time his character has a scene)
-Edilio
-Sam (sort of...he's not my biggest character crush ever...I'd probably rather just being friends with him)
-Caine (he's one of those "crush on from a distance" characters...I would think he's a jerk if he were real, but as a fictional character, he's really quite attractive *cough*sexy*cough*)
I like Albert a bit, but not too much.
Diana- She's amazing! I love manipulative female characters! She reminds me of Rebecca...although I don't think it's too likely that anyone here knows that book.
Astrid- I think she's great. I have no complaints about her character. She just doesn't stick out much to me.

I really like all the characters. No matter what they do, or how "evil" they are, they all bring in something good, and exciting to the story!
I love Sam, especially because he's only 15, and suddenly his whole is turned upside down, and yet he's trying his best, and at times failing, to help things out. Just because he's not a perfect, unflawed character like some people think Edward Cullen is, doesn't mean he sucks.
If you were in his position, would you be any better?
I like Astrid too, mostly because I relate a lot to her, but because she is a smart ass sometimes, and has a personality.
I like Albert too, the first word that comes to mind with him is "Cool." He IS cool! And he's very much a leader, and there's just that certain quality about his character that makes Albert, well, Albert!
Edilio, heehee! I just think he's cute! [In my mind at least..:] And he's a good friend
Quinn-..well Quinn annoys me. I mean, he's loyal and friendly and goofy, he just does stuff that pisses me off and makes me narrow my eyes at him whenever I read the book, and he says something. Especially how he betrayed Sam. I don't care if you didn't know, you just dont go blabbing your mouth. And then he's all surprised when he finds out Sam didn't trust him afterwards.
I mean, seriously?
Diana- I agree with Rachel! She is amazing! Strong, manipulative, and smart! Though naturally, I'm so not the whole "Team Caine" thing, so she's on my enemy list, and she's done some pretty stupid stuff I don't like. But again, it's what makes her awesome, and an amazing, very important character.
Caine-Eh...truthfully I'm just not sure what to think of him yet. I don't know if I think he's awesome, or I wanna hurt him. I've only read the first book, and I didn't like him the entire time, but towards the ending I was just like.."Uhh...what do I think of you?"
So, my opinion about him remains blank lol

he's not that scary...why do I think that? i don't even know myself! sure he has a snake arm and he wants to kill everyone but still...Drake is awesome!
I don't like Drake in a way that I like him as a bad-guy, if that makes any sense. It seems like a lot of the Coates kids, or at least the three main ones, have slightly sadistic tendencies, but Drake is the king of sadism there. :P
All the Coates kids have sort of a "you're a creep" quality, but I agree with Rachel, Drake just has the "umph" that scares me, lol.
Not all Coates kids *cough*Computer Jack and some other sane kids*cough*, but that school does seems to have a higher than usual crazy-rate.
Jack is the best! but he's forced into a lot of stuff and poor him, Sam didn't accept his work and he called it "tech stuff" :(
I don't know i was only thinking of joining if they had cookies so... i think ill stay with Sam haha
No the light side stole the cookies back....pssahw
I thought most people liked them together...
I just don't see the relationship at all. I'm sorry :/
I like them both as characters though. Just like Ron and Hermione from Harry Potter. It bugs me ):

I don't think either of them deserve each other. Ron should have gotten somebody else. It ruins the golden trio idea. Kills it. ): And they do not seem like personality matched at all.
I think Ron and Hermione are cute together, haha.
I know same here!!!! but then I thought Ron and Hermione were cute bwahaha
Ron and Hermione ended up together? No way. I still haven't read the final Harry Potter (busy writing.) I don't know, it feels wrong to me. Hmmm. But it's Ms. Rowling's decision.Ron and Hermione. Wow. That's just troubling.

Ron and Herm..."
That's what I thought.
But if think about it, [well, in my opinion..:] they are best friends, always have each others back, and it's kinda just "there". That little spark thing between the two.
Hermione and Ron don't have similar personalities...like at all, but that's what makes their relationship cute. :P
I agree with you too Amber. IT seems to be that way a lot

My favorites- the bad guys! They are just so GOOD! their characters are amazingly well done. Diana has that evil, manipulative thing going for her while at the same time, she's actually somewhat good. She is definitely HARDCORE. I like it how she's somehow caught in-between the good vs. evil thing. It's obvious that she's bad, but I don't think she's evil. There are a lot of bad good guys after all, aren't there? She is hilarious, and really helps keep the story alive and more entertaining (especially the different relationships she has with everyone.) Caine, I mean, seriously, how could you not love him? Even though I went through some stages where there was nothing I wanted to do more than kill him (the guy's not great with his "love") he's a great character (especially when he's awkward with the romance). Drake, I HATE him with such an epic passion... but he's just so GOOD and not anyone can deny it. He keeps you on your toes and makes you really nervous. Even the bad guys are afraid of him. He really is your worst nightmare. Sam Temple, of course. How could you not like him? He's the perfect hero. Simple, but complicated at the same time. And also, as Diana once said, he doesn't want to be the leader at all. it was a job that was thrown upon him. Dekka and Briana (Computer Jack on and off) There relationships are adorable and they are kick-...butt. Edilio, what's to explain, there's nothing not to love about that guy. Lana, yet another girl-power figure. ORC! Hilarious and sad. I get so many different emotions wen I read about him. Orsay's cool. I don't really know much about her yet, but her power's pretty awesome. Pack Leader. I know I'm supposed to hate him, but he's just so cool!
Characters I dislike. Top of my disliked (not hated) list. Astrid. I don't know why, but that girl severely gets on my nerves. Maybe because I love Diana's character, and Diana hates her, but still. I guess she still has to grow on me, but I just don't like her know-it-all attitude. Little Pete can get annoying sometimes, but maybe that's because his story's so sad. I'm still very interested in seeing how his character develops. I wonder if people will still underestimate him in the future? Also, Quinn. I use to despise him, but he;s begging to grow on me. It may just be me, but it seems his character is begging to develop a little more, and I like it that he started fishing.
So, basically, the only character I dislike is Astrid, which is excellent considering how much of a critical reader I am. My top favorites are Caine and Diana and I'm confident that they love each other and really hope their relationship develops more than Diana using him. I think it will, just because of how popular they are with the fans. The only concern I have is with Brittney and Drake. Won't Diana and Caine be the first they go after? Also, I'm predicting (and wishing) that Diana and Caine will cross over to the good side. Not be good good guys, as I said previously, but nevertheless, good guys. Great books! Fantastic characters! You are doing great M.G.!
Amber wrote: "Okay I am totally Team Caine/Diana and I think that they are hysterical and great together. I love how Diana is so sarcastic towards him and how he puts up with it because he likes her. I mean, she..."I really agree with this, by the way. And likewise about the darkside thing. I really don't often root for the bad guys, but these bad guys are just so...good. And the Caine-Diana thing is fantastic.
I really like Computer Jack, I think even though he's not the most main character, there's always something in meh head going "Oh my god, where's Jack?!"
I'm like the only one with a dislike for the bad guys in this series. :) Diana is a bad(butt). I love her. She's not my favorite character to read about but she's always interesting to read bout. She's full of good comebacks. Like Tasha said, she's HARDCORE.
I feel same as Tasha about Drake. :)
Caine pisses me off. I mean what is his problem? He's okay. I like reading about him. He's just on my list of "not my favorite characters" I guess.
I diagree about Astrid, though. She's my second favorite, behind Sam. She's loyal, brave, smart, and is probably the one who keeps it together the most in this series.
I disagree with Caine/Diana though. Worst relationship in the world. She uses him, he loves her. Stupid. And they are so not a good match. At all. Every time it mentions them in a romantic way I get annoyed. Bad idea, Mr. Grant. Sorry guys. Just how I feel. Don't get mad. :)
Rose- I feel the same about Computer Jack. He's slightly weird but he's still a nice part of the story. Nice kid but a whimp.

Yeah. But he's only so young too, like what--12? I forget.
Hallie, you definitely bring up some good points. Diana is awesome, Drake is epic, Caine can be annoying as hell, Astrid is very useful, and Jack is a neat character.About Caine- half the time, I wouldn't mind axe murdering him, but there is something about his character that's extremely interesting and entertaining to read about. It's probably his humor. Although he as a character is not considered funny, the situations he manages to get everyone into really are. In Hunger, he thinks that he's finally got Sam and then ends up bringing everyone down with him.
And about the Diana-Caine relationship, sure, it would seem that that is all they have, because that's all they show, but if you analyze the characters deeply enough, I think you'll find a little more. Diana, despite the attitude she has towards Caine, has sacrificed so much (possibly her life) to stay with him. She also has never really denied that she didn't love him. Even if she did, I'm not sure I'd believe her. There was a chapter in Gone in Jack's perspective, when Diana was sending him off to go warn Sam for her greater good and stayed behind with Caine for no apparent reason to Jack. I think that she stayed behind, because she loves (or potentially loves) him. And in Hunger, when Caine is insane, she still stays with him and helps him out. I think the way Mr. Grant writes the Caine-Diana romance scenes are fantastic, because he doesn't make it obvious that they love each other, like he does with Astrid and Sam, he makes it complicated and has them fight and Caine threaten Diana and Diana challenge Caine, but sometimes, he gives you the tiniest hint that they just might feel for one another.
They are both people with so many faults, and if they were real, I'd, much like most of the characters on the good side, despise them, but isn't that what makes them so interesting?
And I'm sure you're not the only one to dislike the Diana-Caine relationship. You trust your opinions enough to bring it up in a conversation that has a lot of "Team Bad Guy" participants. And that's a good thing, I completely respect your opinions.
Tasha, you bring up a good point!! Well, several! I have to say I LOVE the Caine-Diana relationship. Its so deep, complicated, confusing. . . While I love Sam and Astrid as a couple, Caine and Diana just make the story SO much more interesting. They both seem to have real feelings for eachother, and yet there is so much in the way, so much that won't let them be together because of how they both are. Caine had to threaten Diana so that he could have the winning hand in his battle against Sam. Diana, is she doesn't keep her cool indiferance towards him, will loose everything she is as a person. You know? Personally, I think interesting villans make the story, not good heros. Haha ;)
Oh yeah, and one more thing---Lana. I mean, she seems really cool and all and i WANT to really like her. . . but the thing is, I just don't know her at all. All we've seen of her is her battle with the Darkness; she hardly relates to people in the books so far, and i have no idea of what she thinks of the majority of characters in the series. Idk, from what I've seen she just isn't a very well developed character. I'm not dissing her or anything! I just don't know her, and would like to get to know her. I feel like Mr. Grant tells us ABOUT her, but doesn't let us see for ourselves into her person. Oh yeah, and I found a glitch. In Gone, Edilio says he has a crush on Lana. This is never even mentioned in Hunger, and infact it seems like Quinn and Lana are hinted at as a potential couple. Did anyone else notice that? Personally, I'd LOVE to see Lana and Edilio get together. . .
1) Astrid
2) Lana
3) Edilio
4) Sam
5) Computer Jack
6) Diana
top 6 favorite :D

i thought it was plain weird when Hermione and Ron got together, i like Harry and Hermione better........ again im really late with my posts
I like Lana! She's awesome. Fierce power too. But in the first book when she got into the car crash i freaked out, the way her arm was shaped, just revolting. But now she's all good, she's very independent, i like how she enjoys to be by herself with Patrick. Also i love her relationship with her dog. Golden Retrievers just makes everything better.so cute...
It's kink of sweet how Lana and Quinn like each other, i'd like to see how that works out.I think they're a cute couple.

Yeah i mean dude don't get me wrong i like Lana too. I just don't feel like I KNOW her yet, not enough to seriously connect with her like i can with most of the other characters.
Yes, Golden Retrievers DO make everything just more awesome :)

Eh, at first I saw Hermione and Harry today, but now I just think "Eh...best friends seems more appropriate." So I think Ron and Herm are cute together :)
I agree Leah with you Leah. She definitely has a strong, fierce power, but she's also totally sweet and awesome. I think she's one of the best characters.
