I love plot twists in books, specifically the ones that you definitely don't see coming from any angle.
I have to say BOTH! I love a good twisted plot line that challenges me to figure it out - maybe shocking me in the end. At the same time, I've read some great books that I figured out early on - was certain where the author was going - however they're so well-written with lots of mini twists along the way that knowing didn't lessen my enjoyment of the book. For me, both ways can work.
I like a twisty book - making it hard to figure out either the killer, the ending or the overall outcome. I like to pick up a book expecting it to be one way - due to the genre or the pasts works of the author - just to find it is totally different than what I expected. I feel great if I figure it out and I also feel great if it surprises me.
