I definitely loved Cinderella and the Colonel

I didn't read that one, I started it, but as soon as she cut her hair I stopped reading. Rumpelstiltskin is one of her best! Who doesn't love Stil?

So is he your favorite male lead of the whole series?

If you can and want to, rate the books in the Timeless Tales series from best to worst!

I’m not a huge fan of Cinderella and the Colonel. I still get the creepy vibe from Friedrich, even after reading it a second time and knowing he’s not evil. I think it’s because that’s how he was originally presented.

My favorite of the male leads is probably Stil. He’s kind of funny without being ridiculous or annoying, and yet he’s gentle and patient, not overbearing. I like the idea of a character like Alexsei, though, but I feel like all the characters from Swan Lake were kinda flat.

My rating in order (some of the middle ones are hard to place):

I did kind of word it weird. lol

I just can’t stand love triangles. I was voting for Falk, but just because I thought he was better than Rune. The incompetent compliments just didn’t work as a part of the story; it’s just too unbelievable.
And then the epilogues! If she had picked one, it would have been okay, but doing the two separate ones made them both seem… incomplete. I get why she did it—she said on her website/blog that she wanted to give a choice, and didn’t want to make anyone lose, since she always cheers for the losing side—but I still am not a fan. Plus the whole idea of marrying a foster brother. I know there isn’t a problem with it, but it still seems a little gross.

So yeah. I don’t really like it.

Yes I concur it was horrible that there were two different epilogues!!!!! That was a big complaint that everyone had!

Yeah, that was weird that they were foster siblings!

I feel like Rune was a little over-the-top. And he tried wooing her before he was supposed to. Not exactly fair to Falk OR her.

I don’t really like either of them, honestly. Both of them didn’t bother to tell her, and they worked together to scare her possible love interest off. And then what they did to Gerhart! He was THIRTEEN and being a nice, attentive brother, and they LOCKED HIM IN A SILO!

I still haven’t managed to force myself to reread it. I’ve read all the others at least twice, but I just can’t do it.

I forgot that they did that! I felt so bad for Gerhart and Elise because it took such a huge toll on their relationship!

It looks like you also really enjoyed the Frog Prince!

It’s kinda tied with the two under it… I just thought of it first. And it’s one of the funniest.

I also really like Angeliques series. Her sarcasm and personality is so hilarious!

I honestly haven't read Angelique's series. I didn't want to start a series that wasn't finished yet.

I didn’t know there would be more, but there are four now, and the last one isn’t that much of a cliffhanger. The beginning of the series overlaps with Timeless Fairy Tales, and the fourth one finishes up that arc, so it’s not bad. I personally think it’s awesome enough to be worth it. I’ll probably survive until the next one.

Probably, or Severin, I would be Elle teasing him about cats! His brother is an interesting character. But Fritz is pretty cool too.

Yes, kinda. I cant find her princess and the pea one at all, its the series prequel.
