hot take but truly devious is the worst book i've ever encountered in my life, we had a school book club thing where this was one of the options and most people picked it but since i had already hated and dnfd it before i was warning people not to pick it and then the people who picked it started crying bc its such a terrible book

i mean I get where you're coming from but personally I found it cozy
my version of this is that throne of glass was a boring book.
