I made it to chapter 14 :) it's really good so far! keeping me very entertained and I love the different POVs!
Chapters are really short, which I like lol.Ella doesn't act like a therapist at all haha...I mean, I know she has her own trauma, but still.
Ya I was thinking the same thing Ella doesn’t seem like a therapist but it definitely is good I really like the short chapters as well
I'm intrigued. I think the now lawyer's brother will not be the killer, but will see. I left it at chapter 10 last night.
nope she really does not!! but I think it makes her character a little more interesting. I love the FBI agent!!
The FBI agent is my favourite so far too. I am curious about the lawyer. I think I only read one chapter from his perspective.
I definitely like Sarah the most too but I feel bad for Vince - I don’t think he’s the killer but idk. 1999 blockbuster…. Can you imagine? Did you have one where you live Corina?
Yeah, I don't think Vince is the killer either. Probably wrong place wrong time plus bad family situation. Haha, I remember all the superstition around 1999. Fortunetellers is not really a thing in Romania, at least no more than other places haha.
But do you think Vince is the vlogger...it seems weird to me that he would do that. Or maybe its just me lol.
Finished it...it was definitely very readable and I liked Keller. It had a few twists. I won't say anything else, keep the spoilers for later :)

Keller. i think this book would make a great limited series.
yeah, I think this could be easily a series, Rosalyn. Atticus was the young detective, Sarah Keller was the FBI agent. Dev Patel would be good as an Atticus :)

Rosalyn, I could 100% see Dev Patel as Atticus!! Haha he and Keller were such a good pair!
I'm still reading, on chapter 44 :) I might finish some time tomorrow! I have my suspicions about who it might be, but idk it feels like the obvious choice right now...
*SPOILERS IN CASE ANYONE IS STILL READING!!* no I didn't think it was steadman! for a minute I suspected the brother, but now I don't think so. Now I'm thinking the girl, but things keep on uncovering and idk. I was thinking the girl because of what happened when she was in middle school, and how she had the same thing whispered to her as her therapist. it felt staged honestly, like she was trying to get a rise out of the therapist, especially since she pretended not to know her lawyer, the brother, until they were alone. I'm not sure, I'm suspicious of her, but she could just be a victim! I'm trying to look at it as if it was steadman and it does seem plausible..
just got to the part where they found Vince and his brothers mom's decomposing body in the tank!!
Haha...snake indeed. I know I've said it before but Ella doesn't act like she is a therapist at all, I feel like at times Jesse reacts more maturely.
Mr Steadman was my number 1 suspicion from the first page lol...seemed like the obvious one. I did also suspect the cop a bit, Arpeggio, cause he seemed he wanted Keller out of the way too much.
I thought it was the cop too for a minute AND he was around for both murders…. I definitely think Jesse acts more mature than Ella. Maybe Ella did it!!!! Hmm that’s a twist!
The father was definitely a piece of work...hated him. I was surprised by Vince's body in the yard. I do feel for Chris, his father murdered his mother, then his brother, which he hoped was alive wasn't. Not too sure what I think about them going off travelling, but Ella was clearly not a therapist lol. And one of the reasons Chris went into law school was because of what happened to his brother.
Merry Christmas, ladies!Hope its a wonderful one for everyone! Here's to reading more great books together next year!
