I’m honestly very conflicted on this, I like short books because it means I can read more and there’s less a chance of me getting into a reading slump, but I also really like long books and often find myself wishing a book was longer. So i really can’t say which I like more ahah.
Honestly depends… but think I do like a long book. Kinda used to it when your favourites series is boys of tomen.
Works out well when you’re not constantly buying books. Having a big and long book gives your bank account a rest ◡̈
although i love short books, i think i like longer books better 🫣🫣 as long as they have short chapters
I feel like I get bored more easily when I'm reading a long book (especially if it's fantasy, ahem ACOTAR)
for standalones i mostly prefer if its a short book (approx 200-300 pages is short for me) and for series (especially most fantasy series i've read) i prefer long books like between (450-900 pages) ish
as someone who reads books from library, long, because reading a book in a day sucks, i dont have what to read really fast
