Hello,Hope I'm not breaking any forum rules here. I'm on the verge of self-publishing an ebook for children aged 4 to 7 years. It's a 'feel-good' story, told in rhyme, about a snail who's broken her arm and leg. There's no particular message in it, it's just a piece of entertainment for little children. I don't feel overly confident about it so in the first instance I'm really looking for someone to read it and give me HONEST feedback about the illustrations and story line and whether the rhymes are OK. It's the typical length for picture books, around 30 pages and takes around 4 minutes for an adult to read. If anyone is able to provide feedback, that would be great. If you think the story and illustrations are of a good enough quality, it would be great if you left a review on Amazon, though it may be a day or two before it's uploaded there. Many thanks. I can forward it in pdf format.

Best of luck, although I have not really reviewed too many books. Feel free to post it up on the group page or on the fan page if you like.

Oh, thank you. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do that as it contains illustrations too. I'll take a look, but it might take me a while as I'm not yet sure where the 'group page' is. Cheers Gia.

Fireworks in the Night I am looking for review on my recently published book. An unlikely cast of characters will take you on an adventure into the world and music of George Frideric Handel. Rock a Note Farm, on Harmony Lane, will never be the same now that Randy the Raccoon is there to stay. His stories about the magical woods that surround the farm piqued the animal’s interest to explore. After Farmer Heather tucks everyone in each night the adventures start. Randy leads his new friends through the magical woods that border the farm, back in time to England, where George Frederic Handel lived. Randy didn’t realize how dangerous it would be for him to go back in time. Fireworks and a mistaken identity are all part of the suspense in this Randy the Raccoon and His Musical Friends book.

Please just be careful if you decide to do this through Amazon. I heard that they are now coming down on reviews left by "friends" (although I'm not sure how they know if it's a friend or not). I haven't looked too much into it, but just wanted you all to be aware.
Can someone please explain how the triad picture book review works? I'm interested if it is not a direct review swap. I've partaken in one where you review the book in the comment above and then add your book and the next person reviews yours and so on, but I can't figure out how this one works. Thanks!
Gladys
Bonnie wrote: "Jo and Cathey, I lost track of this. Do you still want to do a triad review?"Hi Bonnie,
I'm interested in the review triad. I can review your book and then put mine up in line for the next person who wants to join in to review in this triad. My children's picture book is - The Little Big Girl.
Please send the pdf of your book to notsoseriousjack@gmail.com
I presume that the next person will review my book and then you will review theirs. Anyone else interested in joining us?
Thanks,
Jack

But whether it's like for children? I don't know.

Could you give me a honest review, please?

Hello. It's me again :) (More post recycling...)I'm considering making the ebook version of my latest picture book, Tip & Lulu: A tale of two friends, free to download for about a week (or two) on kindle for possible reviewers since I cannot provide a print copy (and I don't feel comfortable sharing a PDF). Would anyone be interested in participating if I did that? I'm really proud of this book, and I really want people to know it's out there. Please reply if you're interested!!
Thank you!
Lauren :)
I'm interested as well. My book is Talisha Snow White: And Her Little Munchkins. Thanks for starting this!

HiI'd be interested in the same. My book is Mischievous Molly.
Are others interested in sending PDF copies? I'm unsure of how to send an ebook?
Thanks for starting this.

I'm in! Lauren, I'll reach out to get your email for your title.
I would like to take part in the triad style of reviews. I am Andy Klein, the author of 'The Fantastic Adventures of Oliver Phenomena' a children's series for ages 4-8. Published by Tate and available on Amazon, BAM, B&N, and Tate publishing.

Sorry everyone, but I am no longer seeking reviews for my book. I've discovered a few technical errors that need my attention before I can participate in something like this. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Dang, I missed you. Carmela.Does this work for everyone?
If this finally works out, we can shift one name over and do it again. As long as there are no swaps.
