I been trying to find more people who like sad heavy books. I want to talk to someone about some I have read but none of my friends like them.

The books that I have bawled my eyes out to are the book thief, the secret history, all the light we cannot see, love story, the fault in our stars, clockwork princess, kings cage, war storm, ballad of never after and finale (there’re probably more but can’t think of their names rn)

Only thing I have been able to read lately

I'd like to think I do enjoy them. I read A Little Life, and while it was hard to get through because of how long it took, I loved it! I thought about it for days but I think that's why I like sad books is because it makes me feel something and I think that's an important factor that makes a writer!

I think i have to be in the mood for them so I won’t say no

I wanna try these types of books, anyone have any recommendations?

I don’t think so, like i’ll read a rad romance or something but i don’t think i’ll read something like “A little life” idk it just doesn’t seem enjoyable

Sometimes it’s cathartic to read an extremely sad book. I enjoy books that make me ugly cry. I’m currently reading A Little Life and it’s been an EXPERIENCE
