Gwyn Francis | 2 comments Read this book sometime during the pandemic,, I want to say 2021

-scene with the main characters love interest, where her truck was playing “cosmic love” by florence and the machine

-the boy is able to foresee death and foresees his dad falling off a ladder and dying AND prevents his friend from dying in a car accident by vaguely mentioning something about cars and brakes (I think the friends name is Sam)

-there’s a biker gang involved

-the kids mom is dead or not present and him and the dad live together and run a funeral home

Capn | 3506 comments Playlist for the Dead? Or maybe Night Film? Both have "Cosmic Love" by "Florence + the Machine" or "Florence and the Machine" in them, by text search. Neither sounds quite right to me, by their summaries, though.

But more right than The Love Shack, Seven Secrets of Happiness, Parallel Spirits or Captured in Croatia, which also feature that song. :)

Gwyn is still looking for this book:

"Book about a boy who can predict deaths and he finds out it’s a hereditary thing when he predicts his dads death
His dad dies by falling off a ladder when fixing the roof of their house and is aware that he’s going to die but doesn’t want to chnage fate
The boy and his dad run a graveyard / cemetery
There’s also a biker gang involved and they drive through the graveyard at one point
The boys love interest has a truck and at one point it was playing “cosmic love” by florence and the machine"

Gwyn, what's the genre (which we need to add to the topic header) - e.g., for teens? fantasy, horror, etc.?
