Before reading this book, what was your understanding of witches and pirates? Have your feelings changed after reading it?

Isn’t anyone commenting on this book. I finished the book and who can I discuss this with????

I definitely had more of a sensationalized view of pirates before reading this book. This book made pirates look not all bad. Sam was a captain but he wasn’t a violent man, and he felt badly if any of his men were killed. He wasn’t mean to his prisoners. And he took on many men throughout his time as captain.
