Authors: first will always be Cassandra Clare, but I also love Rick Riordan, Alexandra Bracken, and Michelle HodkinGenres: anything ya really but usually fantasy, sci fi, and dystopia
Series: too many to name but Shadowhunters are my life, and I love Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The Lunar Chronicles, and The Darkest Minds (check out my favorites bookshelf and the shelf of honor for all of them if you're interested)
Standalones: The Book Thief, The Scorpio Races, and The Fault in Our Stars
I love Cassandra Clare and Rick Riordan! You really can't go wrong with Shadowhunters, harry potter and percy jackson. I'm about to read Scarlet cause i loved Cinder! I definitely want to read the darkest minds! The book thief and the fault in out stars are both amazing!

This is a very difficult question, but to name a few (or not so few)...Authors: JK Rowling, Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, Marissa Meyer, Cassandra Clare, Rick Riordan, Gail Carriger, Leigh Bardugo, Kerstin Gier, Laini Taylor, Stephanie Perkins, Rainbow Rowle, Kiersten White, Rachel Caine + many more.
Genres: I read a lot of YA, Fantasy, Supernatural, Contemporary, Science Fiction & Historical -- mix any of those elements and I'm a happy camper.
Series: The HP Series (of course), The Ruby Red Trilogy, The Lunar Chronicles, Both Percy Jackson series, The Infernal Devices + Mortal Instruments, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, The Grisha Trilogy, Starbound, Starcrossed, Morganville Vampires, etc.
