We're finally finished with this journey that we started back in February! It's definitely been a mixed experience revisiting this series, from the very fun start to downright baffling conclusion. Here's our space to discuss any memories, surprises, overall opinions, or favorite findings about Allegiant and the Divergent series as a whole! (That includes the movies ;))

Susu | 2 comments I remember reading the first book simultaneously with somebody else, because they were staying with me and my family and it was their favourite movie at that time. I was 11 and they were 9 and I devoured the book in a few nights sitting so I wouldn't interfere with their reading time...(Ignore the fact that both of us were clearly a little bit to young ( •_•))
Even though the story was incredibly catchy, I never felt the urge to read the 2. /3. book or watch the movie. I am still not sure why, but I think for me personally the story was just a little bit to "random" in a way? I couldn't quite understand Tris and think that she is a little bit irritating. Listening to your podcast I gained a new view on the story, especially with the background information regarding the author and her writing process.
+ God damn i just watched the movie trailers. There was some money invested (not just for the incredible actors)! I didn't expect the sceneries to look that good, I am low-key used to movie adaptations of YA books not being that impressive...
