Thanks Susan.

Susan | 238 comments I really enjoyed this story. Mansfield writes so well it’s as if we are there and dancing, too. [trying to avoid spoilers ;)]

I liked this one too. It reminded me of Invitation to the Waltz, and made me want to re-read that one.

Susan | 238 comments Maybe we can read it in the fall?

I'd be happy to.

Antoinette | 104 comments I, too, love how Mansfield writes. “… she floated away like a flower that is tossed into a pool. “ I read another of her stories recently, A Cup of Tea- it was excellent. This story made me remember the first dance I went to. I was super shy so it was not a success.
I’d love to read Invitation to the Waltz as well.

Dianne | 44 comments Never heard of Invitation to the Waltz, but I'll look for it now! I was so so pleased she didn't let the rude man ruin her first dance. Lovely that she forgot all about him!
