Colin | 2 comments I’m aware that Vollmann claims to have been “fired” and is examining EU grant options for translation with his German publisher, and that A Table For Fortune is ridiculously long, to the tune of a million words. Any new or insider info beyond that? Much appreciated.

To | 1 comments This is also the last news I heard. He talked about how multiple European publishers might apply for an EU grant and get it published together. It's so frustrating to know that this enormous and seemingly amazing book exists, without it being available to us.
